Joshua! What a fabulous human and coach. I was very hesitant to seek out a personal trainer & my only regret is I wish I had asked for Joshua’s help sooner.My favorite things about working w Joshua… 1) he holds you accountable!! But not in a scary way… he humbly seeks to understand. He asks probing questions that dig into motivation that begin to scratch the surface for WHY behind your goals so that he can help you build a plan to achieve 2) he leads by example. NEVER has Joshua asked me to restrict. He helps you build a sustainable plan that enables you to live life tastefully AND on track to meet your ideal self. He doesn’t miss out on ice cream, so why should I?? 3) he is so knowledgeable. From the first conversation I had w Joshua I knew I was going to learn so much working w him…however, not only have I learned so much, but his energy to learn more is contagious and I’m inspired to keep learning. Joshua provides you w what feels like endless amounts of coaching in topics like: habit formation, nutrition (I was definitely not getting enough protein before working w Joshua!), strength training, goal setting & achieving, productivity etc. 4) Joshua builds a personal plan that fits YOU. I was working remote for a month and was really worried about the progress we’d made (strength building, clean eating etc.) because w/out a routine & traveling I thought I would regress to old habits… Joshua detailed a guide for me that included local gyms he tracked down in PORTUGAL as well as hikes/activities and grocery stores nearby w healthy choices for vegetarians… I mean wow. He made it so easy for me to put fitness first. Joshua 5) he’s in your corner! This is one of my favorite aspects of working w Joshua; he’s the best cheerleader. He taught me to celebrate the small wins and when doubt reared it’s ugly head… he was first to reassure me.I signed up for 3 months w Joshua and I’m so excited to continue this journey… I wouldn’t pick anyone else to be in my corner. Thank you Joshua!!!

I’ve had A LOT of personal trainers in my lifetime but training with Reed was such a wonderful, different experience, and one that has helped me stick to my goals (even when we haven’t trained in a while). Josh has a way of motivating clients in a fun, inviting way (while also reminding you of all the muscle groups you’ve forgotten to attend to…lol). He’s a great human with a huge heart and he genuinely wants to see all of his clients and friends thrive. Highly recommend!!

I highly recommend Josh. I’ve been working with him twice a week and it’s really made a difference in my strength and agility. Josh is very skilled at targeting areas for improvement and is able to modify the exercise to match your ability. The sessions are very focused but lots of fun too.

First, I must say how eternally grateful I am for my time with Joshua! I've struggled with my body image, self-confidence, and gym intimidation for as long as I can remember. From the moment I started training with Joshua, I knew I was making life-long decisions that would forever benefit me.His kindness, patience, and encouragement are unmatched. I now walk into the gym with a set plan and confident that I can take whatever is thrown at me. Beyond that, my mental and emotional growth around food is at a spot I could have only dreamt of. I no longer look at food as calories but as fuel for my body. I could say so much more, but the main thing is how happy I am that I finally decided to invest in myself and future me. If you are looking for a holistic trainer who will take you on a fitness journey that includes not only body, but mind and spirit as well then Joshua is the right trainer for you! As a woman it can be difficult to find the right trainer or the right gym atmosphere and Joshua has not only invested time in researching and understand how to train women, but he actually listens to your goals as well as needs and creates programming just for you where you are in your fitness journey right now. Working with him is empowering, challenging and fun!

If you are looking for an individualized approach, Josh will give you that! As a personal trainer myself, I am pretty particular about who I trust with my programming. Josh is very knowledgeable, personable and easy to work with. Sessions are well thought out, challenging and thorough. Josh is a wealth of knowledge about anything to do with the human body and I would recommend him to anyone! ?

Joshua is the first trainer I have had who actually LISTENS and CARES about me reaching my goals. It’s not all about fitness, too. He takes a more cognitive behavioral approach which has helped me understand why I do things certain ways, create and break habits, and become more consistent, all while providing excellent workout programs. His online workout programs are thoughtful, creative, thorough, and effective. His one-on-one sessions leave me feeling stronger than ever, satisfied, energized, and motivated to keep up with all my “homework” on my own. I am injury-prone, and through our time together, he has helped me work through previous injuries until I was pain-free. I also like the meal tracking component of the app. It is super simple to use, and I love the barcode feature- it really helps me hold myself accountable. He is readily available if I ever have questions, and is just such a lovely person to be around. His expertise shows within the first complimentary meeting. I would highly recommend Joshua to anyone who is looking for a dedicated trainer to help them create lifelong changes in a sustainable way.

After moving into an apartment building with a gym, I did in-person training with Joshua for one day a week for two months and am now doing online. I have lifted weights for years but have learned SO much about how to workout the right way to see results from Joshua! The workouts he creates are challenging but good. He is very responsive to questions. He is also super helpful with nutrition, and always very encouraging. Love the app he uses for workouts. Highly recommend!!

The BEST personal trainer!! I’ve had Josh helping me on and off for 7+ years and he makes all the difference in my health and fitness routine. Super knowledgeable, patient, and a great listener/advice giver on what goals you want have and how to achieve them.

I did a 4 week virtual prenatal training plan with Joshua to help get my body prepared for second and third trimester of pregnancy and ultimately be in a better spot for postnatal recovery. I did not workout before training with Joshua, not even a little, but now I have a tailored plan that I'm able to do at home on my own time and I'm stronger now than I was before I even got pregnant. Highly recommend if you are pregnant and looking to increase your strength, mobility, and flexibility during pregnancy!

Love Josh, he's a great trainer and he has all the necessary equipment to come up with lots of different kinds of workouts. I like that he challenges me to do my best, but he has an understanding of different people's needs and abilities. It seems like he knows exactly how hard to push to get good results but not overdo it. Would definitely recommend Josh to anyone looking to work with a personal trainer.

I started seeing Josh only a few weeks ago for both 1:1 training and semi personal training classes. I am 24 weeks pregnant and needed a little boost / guidance with my fitness and training to be as healthy as I can during this pregnancy. Josh is very knowledgeable and personable and is able to tailor my workouts to my needs. He also gives great advice on nutrition. Josh is just wonderful to work with and I am so glad I started working with him!
