ATTENTION GOODWILL SHOPPERS:The GOODwill is slowly SUCKING out every SINGLE PENNY that you have in your piggy banks! The paperback books are now FOUR DOLLARS.If you are thinking about getting a CHEAP book from the GOODwill for somebody as a present, run FAST and FAR away.Thy neighbor is not a GOOD neighbor for thee is the BIGGEST sinner of the sinners.ASSOCIATES are RUDE. Constantly complaining about CUSTOMERS within earshot.Entire store smells like PEE and MUSK. Invest in some FEBREEZE. Only FOUR dollars at our "LOCAL" WALMART.Rather, instead of investing your hard-earned money at a corporation that SUCKS. Go to a corporation(WALMART) that also SUCKS. Neither one of them CARES about the consumer nor the BETTERMENT of society.Least the clothes are CHEAPER and BETTER quality than GOODwill. You won't have to WORRY about someone's USED BLOODY pants or URINE-STAINED undies.

It's usually a pretty good store to go into especially if you like thrift shopping, you never know what you're going to find. Of course you never know what prices they're going to have either. That is about the only bad thing about the Goodwill. A lot of times go find awesome prices in there, but it does depend on what you found. Some things they have incredibly overpriced especially for it to be used stuff. When they have new articles of clothing or new items that still have the tags on them and stuff I can understand it being a little more expensive than straight used but still not the same price as buying it new. But when it is flat-out used I don't care what brand it is, I mean obviously there are some brands that are higher cost than others but used clothes are still used clothes and regardless of the brand or anything else people took it to the Goodwill to donate it so that people who are less fortunate could afford to purchase it but but they will mark it boutique and put a high price tag on it. And the people at the store always claim even the manager that they are not allowed to lower the prices without contacting corporate which I know is phony-baloney because I also go to the Goodwill in Henderson and Evansville a lot. But that neither here nor there it is ridiculous when you find a DVD that they sell in the store brand new for $5 and they want $5 there with scratches on it LOL. But then again like I said there are other treasures in there you will find just randomly Mark cheaper than what you would think they would be even used so it's a weird system but it's still good store to go into and check out sometimes because again you never know what you're going to find and at what price LOL. And most the time the ladies in there are really nice, every once in awhile you'll get a grump in one that don't want to tell you the prices are gets irritated about telling you the prices but sometimes you just can't believe the price of something. I mean it'll say women's pants are a certain price but you might find a pair of pajama pants or something on the same rack and they'll still consider that woman's pants souly because whoever placed at their be at one of them or someone that put it in the wrong place but regardless they shouldn't be the same price. Either way though check it out.

This Goodwill is one I don't shop at often bcuz I'm from out of town. Clean place & pretty good selection. I would give 5 stars, but as a whole Goodwill's items are way overpriced, considering things are donated. I'm a reseller & not poor, but was in my past. The poor can't even afford to shop there. Goodwill needs to concentrate on helping the under privledged, as their mission statement says, & stop looking online to compete with the resellers! Not my opinion only.

I was shocked. Extremely high prices for a Goodwill. All the Goodwills I have been in within West Ky, have very close to identical pricing EXCEPT the one in Madisonville. Very high prices. Identical figurines I get else where are .99 cents, in Madisonville $2.79. Jigsaw puzzles and games, all .99 cents elsewhere, in Madisonville $3 and upwards. These items are freely donated to Goodwills across America and should not be intended to make huge profits for corporate. RUN from this one or keep getting ripped off!

Most expensive Goodwill store in this area. Never a $1.00 day like other Goodwill's.

I had a wonderful experience at this particular store, one person helped me by telling me what tags were on sale and where certain items were located

Very small store. The book selection is extremely limited. There's just not much here. And the prices seem a little on the high end. I won't waste my time coming here again.
