Clean showers and affordable laundromat. Showers are $1.50 for 4.5 minutes, supposedly able to add more time but you’d need a timer to make that work. Washer and dryer are $1.75 each, everything seemed dry after one round. Washers don’t seem like they get cleaned regularly though - had to wipe out hair and gunk from the rim before using. Main complaint is that we had a cop show up at our Mercedes’ sprinter van while we were doing laundry saying that someone called us in for camping in the lot. We had been parked and in our van for under an hour while our clothes were in the washer. The officer was understanding but I was appalled that someone at a laundromat/shower camp store would call police on people using those services without talking to us and after we had been parked for only 30-45 minutes. We were afraid to leave the van to shower after that and ultimately decided to write a note in our front windshield so we wouldn’t get towed while out of the van showering.

NO REAL FIREWOOD FOR SALE HERE!! Just compressed blocks of sawdust and glue a la Duraflame. The people who work here are very nice and the other items offered are priced on the high but fair scale, but the firewood is a sad joke. The campground website is also misleading, you can absolutely bring in wood from outside of the park as long as it is from within the county.

We arrived at our site at the campground minus an entire wheel on our camper!! We spoke with Bobby and he called several tire trailer places to find one willing to help us. We went to Trailer Mart in Cave City and got squared away. A Big THANK YOU to Bobby for his very much appreciated help and kindness. Nice to have good people working at the Camp Store.

Paying for my showers is fine. However, I would expect hot water to be available right away instead of waiting a minute to be able to get in. The showers also have no timer or a way of letting you know time is almost up. Most of the workers here are very nice and the food we had was good, expect it to be on the pricier side! They have a post office, which is super convenient! The washer and dryers work well and are priced right. All in all, I enjoyed our stay here, just be prepared to bring lots of quarters if you are staying awhile! Cheers! ?

Great little store outside of the mammoth cave campground. Laundry and showers located on the facility. Make sure you bring enough coins. Once the shower turns off, it's off and requires a new full set of coins to operate. They are on a time limit.

Don’t buy their compressed fake firewood. It does not burn well.

Pretty good food choices, friendly staff and a good place to fill up before a 3 hour cave tour. If you have kids, stop here before a tour so they enjoy the entire time down below.

Nice people here with a wide variety of gear. Needed aluminum foil and ice and they had it! Had a slightly leaky tire during our trip and they had free air outside which was super helpful.

Great place to pick up a cold drink, snack, or ice cream bar. Prices on ice cream novelties lower than imaginable and vending machines. Given lines at the temporary snack shop due to renovations at the park, heading here might even be a better alternative if you wanted to stay in the park.

The store is just a quick walk from the visitors center past the train caboose along the path.We had their biscuits and gravy in the morning when we got to Mammoth Caves and had some sandwiches in the afternoon between tours. That was great. They have a few other food options as well. The girls that work there are super nice! There is also ice cream here but we didn’t have any.

Girls are very good at the utilizing everything available during the renovations that recently started. This is definitely the place to go for a good meal and even a cold beer. From what I have been hearing the visitors center is getting a facelift along with the cottages located near the area.

Great burgers, beer, and service. I was glad there wasn't a long line when we were in there. I highly recommend.
