Sapporo Sushi Steakhouse of Mayfield
1102 Paris Rd Unit 15-B, MayfieldIt's been a while since I've eaten here, and the place must have gone down hill. The Graves roll, the super crunchy roll, and the eel roll were fair. The spicy salmon roll has so much spice I couldn't taste anything else, but it seemed concerningly dry. The spicy tuna roll was definitely dry and tasted like it has been sitting out too long. Even the ginger was unusually tough and dry and seemed like it had been sitting out or was well past expiration. Every other time I've been, everything was phenomenal. This is so far below my past experiences I can't believe it's the same place. I've had those fake sushi rolls from Chinese buffets that tasted better. Now I have an upset stomach now and will never be going back.
The other foods they serve are, so far as I know, still great and our waiter was wonderful, but I am going to have to look somewhere else for passable sushi.
