Customer service has been very good when I come in. Everyone has a smile on their face and always so nice. Love my bank and the workers there.

Has to be the worst bank I have ever had to deal with. They won’t answer the phones and the manager won’t do anything to help the customers out at all. Took me for 800 dollars and wouldn’t help me dispute it or call me back. Just terrible business

Why does no one answer the phone anymore at the local branch and since peoples has taken over, I feel like I've had to update my mobile banking app monthly. Very kind and courteous staff, but Peoples needs to get it together!

Since People's has acquired this bank, there has definitely been a huge shift in customer service in a very negative way.Service reps make you feel that you are inconveniencing them by expecting to process banking transactions. At the drive through, you will see tellers conversing with one another, yet no one is in any hurry to come and assist. Not what I expected from this transition, and from what I am hearing, this sentiment is shared by many.

10/27/21: Avoid People's Bank Rt 68 of Maysville, KY. Incredibly anti-customer, anti-business manager.I just moved to Maysville last month. Went into the Maysville branch for a cash advance on my debit card from my former state's bank. Waited 15 minutes on the teller who conferenced with the manager in her back office who then told me the manager refused to allow the cash advance (I needed the cash to pay a local contractor).I asked to speak directly with the manager then asked her if there was a problem with my card. She said no problem with my card but wouldn't allow a cash advance for a non-customer.To that I told her I recently moved to Maysville from out of state and needed a local account so I'd like to open one. The manager refused and said it's too labor intensive to open an account for someone she didn't believe wanted an account there.Initially, while waiting on the teller's back office meeting, a customer came in, went to the teller next to me and closed 3 of her accounts. The teller asked if she was unhappy with the bank to which she said yes. Nothing further was done except to close her accounts.I worked for 6 years in a bank throughout college and medical school. Whenever a person came in who recently moved to town we all introduced ourselves and the manager or assistant manager made them feel welcome while informing them of the services we offered. In every case we gained happy new customers.Amazing to be treated so badly and accused of lying in a town of the most lovely people I've ever lived among.I got into my car, went to U.S. Bank across the street, was greeted warmly and had the cash I needed in a minute.
