The Manager who took over this store a couple of years ago has really turned this store around. It was in horrible shape back then. Now it is my go to Dollar General. She has recruited a friendly staff and cleaned up the store and expects great customer service from her staff. She gets involved in the community such as she is participating in a Toy Drive for Christmas right now. It has become more of a community store to the local residents now than it ever was. We have a lot of tourists visitors in the summer months who pretty much buy everything in the store, but the current manager has done a great job of being able to work with Dollar General corporation to get additional basic products shipped in to alleviate issues of running out of Basic Necessities that customers are looking for.

Employees are rude,nothing is ever stocked.Asking an employee for help is out of the question because they just complain about having to do their job.Will never go back to this store again it gets worse every week lazy and incompetent workers always complaining Everytime I go there.I will drive the extra miles to shop at any other store

Cashier Broke eggs when bagging, she opened them up and said no casualties. Got home to find out not only did I have a smashed egg she shorted me $5 in change!

This store owner should be embarrassed for the management and staff working at their store. Nothing but excuses of why this is broken and that is broken and why their shelves are so empty. Very poor customer service. Have a solution or if not act like you are going to do something. It isn't one of those moment where it is what it is. Your serving your community with goods and services that are needed for your community lively hood. I understand the big corporations doesn't think this small town store is as important. But they better get their act together once this weather gets warmer because this area gets people travelers to come to the lake for a summer vacation from all over and not just the locals will this effect. I would feel ashamed to own this store.

2 of the employees are extremely rude to customers. Only a few of them will actually do their job yet they get yelled at for speaking to customers and telling them to have a good day. Angela, Lisa, Teresa, Aaron are the best that I have seen there. But Judy and james are extremely rude to everybody.

Gave 1 star because did not get option of zero stars. Worst run store I ever saw. Could be a gold mine if they had anything to sell. I virtually NEVER go there and come home with what I went after. I'm talking about a loaf of bread or a package of buns. It's ridiculous ! First rule of retail, if u ain't got it you can't sell it! They need to lock the doors and turn out the lights and stop wasting people's time!
