I would highly recommend not taking your vehicle here. My bf was needing to have a new motor put in his truck, we already had the motor we just needed someone to put it in. We chose this place and had them tow it to their shop, obviously we understood that it would take a while to get it done so we were fine with the wait. However, every time my bf would try to call to check on his truck they would never answered the phone. My dad is a mechanic and the one who was helping with the situation (he lives 9 hours away) and he still could not get a hold of the shop. One day we went up there and they said "it sounds great it will be ready tomorrow" but my bf had gotten sick so we did not go to pick it up til the next week. When we went to pick it up they said that the motor had locked up. If the motor had locked up why did you not call the owner of the truck to tell them what had happened? Luckily the motor is under warranty but they never wanted to deal with the warranty paperwork or take the proper pictures needed. We decided to pull it out of that shop and take it to another one, but they will not give us a receipt even after we have paid and been up there multiple times to get the receipt. Not saying it is their fault that the motor locked up (stuff happens and stuff is faulty when you get it) but they are very unprofessional and have no respect for a customer.

Truck sit in front of the shop for 2 weeks and was never touched. Then I had to pay 65 bucks just for them to do a scan when I done knew what the problem was with the truck. Don’t know how their work is but the work ethic most definitely ain’t there.

Traveling through the area and after may many calls they were the only place that would take us in for a tire repair last minute on a Friday. Very appreciative of their service. Good work and fair price.

Our son is an LMU student that is 3 hours away from home. My son's vehicle was in the mechanic shop at home so he had to drive my mom's car back to school. Unfortunately, the vehicle broke down on him at a local store in Harrogate. We contacted Crater City Automotive to tow the car and to check it out for us. They did a great job and in a timely manner. Everyone we spoke to on different occasions were very nice and extremely helpful. Thank you so much Crater City Automotive!! 5 Star Service!!
