I shop here a lot yall make good money from me yes u do yet u customer service while shopping at this store simply sucks yes it does. (Margo) I ask this person for help and i got the crap end of the stick this is unacceptable. Yall hire folks to help customers correct yet she failed to do so. This is all i get no matter where it is or who i ask and people wonder why i am who i am. Do ur job as u should and won't be no bs tell me im wrong. I wasn't the only one had problems with said person on 9/11/25 there was another lady walked by me said go on u tell her because i did the same yes she did. Again this is unacceptable period
If u need help do not go here as u will not get it period

I notice most 4 and 5 star reviews were over 1 year ago,some 2 years old. Look at most recent reviews in past 12 months most are 1 star. One review says it all, it was a good place to shop but in past 18 months service and attitude of employees have went down. I had 3 items, Propel Water,Berry Powerade (12oz bottles),Punch Flavor Powerade (20oz bottles). Went to self checkout, Propel scanned ok, Berry Powerade scanned ok, Fruit Powerade wouldn't scan, said see attendant. Clerk came over, reset register, still wouldn't scan. She reset, tried handheld scanner, didn't scan. She looked at screen, said it scanned,see Powerade. I showed her the 2 items in cart that scanned, I pointed at screen showing her that the Powerade that scanned was Berry 12oz @ $4.99. She insisted that it scanned and for me to put the Fruit Powerade in cart and pay, I kept telling her,2 items scanned,if I take 3 item it would be shoplifting. I ask for a manager,(that turned out to be a mistake. )I had 1 manager in my face,1 two feet behind me, neither of the 2 would look at the screen,they just kept saying calm down and leave. It's hard to be calm with 2 managers and a clerk all in your face ,refusing to look at the screen ,and the clerk telling you to put a 12 pack of Powerade in your cart and to walk out knowing that it would be shoplifting. I left empty handed!

I love Kroger brands, they're just as good as the name brand items. Plus with my Kroger card I save on gas and with my app on my phone I get coupons in the mail based on the items I buy a lot of. A lot of the coupons are for free items that I use all the time! They definitely save me money I can use for other things. I'm a Kroger Fan all the way! Every time I shop at Kroger I do my receipt surveys for my 50 extra fuel points. Just came home from a trip and will do one now. They add up and getting 40, 50 or 60 cents off a gallon of gas is a lot and is a great help to my budget!

Management needs to hire baggers instead of working the front cashiers to death. I've been coming to this Kroger, in Middlesboro, KY for many many years and there's literally never a bagger. We have to bag our own groceries, which I don't necessarily mind to do (and we certainly do bag our own stuff each time), BUT the point is, the cashiers cannot keep up. There's also no buggies inside half the time. Does management not want to hire folks, to keep their employee cost low, & run the sweat off of the employees they do have? I should not come inside this grocery store and see elderly employees trying to lift heavy items due to not having a bagger. I have never once seen a manager up front helping cashiers. Surely with the high cost of groceries we have to pay, this store can definitely afford to hire more people. We are about to start shopping elsewhere. The cashiers are always nice, but they certainly deserve so much better of a work environment than what I see every visit.

Expired ice cream, molded flatbread, and stale bagel chips. I will not be shopping here again until it gets better.

I was absolutely lethargic from the heat, I could not even shop for the heat in this store it was every bit of 100 in there!!!!!!

The store was terribly hot the air conditioning was broken I couldn't shop for it being so hot!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous having a broken AC and it nearly 100 in there, I couldn't do my grocery shopping for getting nauseous from the heat!!!!!

The store was so hot that I couldn't shop, I was told the AC unit is broken and in need of repairs, it had to be 90 degrees or more in there!

Personally, I am extremely disappointed with this location. Just their advertising alone is irritating. HOWEVER, I did appreciate the sale on their glade candles and CBD candles! God knows I definitely needed them! I only shopped with/at Kroger for the last 10 1/2 years until, I moved to that area for a short period of time. I then had to switch to Walmart as a Target nor Costco were available. It really bothered me to have to switch but, there were SO many issues while shopping here. Numerous times the self check was not adequately working and I had to wait for the employee to come scan her badge to check what the issue was while, there was a line of people standing impatiently behind me. Every time I went to shop, there was only one register open regardless, of how busy the store was. Numerous times, I had to just leave due to feeling immediately overwhelmed due to there was no help at all with finding products, products pricing was priced wrong, I couldn’t find any employees although, there were multiple employees standing by the front door when I’d first arrived into the store. Numerous times I’d finally reached self check and believed I knew exactly what I’d spent while shopping due to id written the amount plus the tax down and started scanning and every single product was an absolute different price than marked and marked by most of the time 2-3x’s higher than what was advertised, when the employee/cashier came to me and I’d told her and showed her a picture. She had to have someone go check or she did herself and came back with something different every time. I am truly grateful that I never had to shop here as a single parent and shop with my children because, that would have been an absolute nightmare.
