My daughter has been riding here with Abby for around 6 months. It’s truly been phenomenal experience. We love it and we highly recommend Abby. Truly a pleasure to work with. She’s exceptional with my young daughter and has wonderful patience with an inexperienced rider.

This is an awesome barn... I was extremely pleased with Lili’s lesson, she had an excellent mount, not your typical lesson horse...Bailey was a retired Prelim horse...Lili did very good, because she hasn’t ridden in awhile...another thing is this barn is going by COVID rules, you wear a mask, except when riding, there’s hand sanitizer everywhere...No mask, No ride... this was how it should be...Tanya, was excellent in communication with Lili...and Lili enjoyed her lesson, and her gallant steed...

I went to 3-Day to start riding again after many years. From the first day Tanya and the girls made me feel welcome. The horses were obviously loved and well cared for.Everyone got along-it was my "Happy Place"I enjoyed the lessons, Tanya is a great teacher no matter what level you are.She teaches everyone as if they are top level. She expects lot and she gives even more.I rode there a few years and had to stop for reasons not related to the farm,I would for sure recommend 3-Day Farm for boarding and lessons.

I love this place. Tawnya is an amazing trainer who not only teaches you what to do but the WHY behind what you are doing. She excels at positive reinforcement which is a huge deal to me because I'm a single mom just getting back into a passion of mine. She does not make me feel like a newbie which I love because I'm not new, just rusty haha. She's seriously the best trainer I've ever had and I've been doing this since I was 7 with only a 7 year break after I had kids.

I've been involved with horses for every decade of my life, and I keep coming back to 3 day. It's a closely-knit yet welcoming community of folks of all ages who really love their horses. Head trainer and owner, Tanya, is big on building strong foundations and has an excellent reputation for starting young horses or retraining difficult ones. She's also the head coach for Transylvania University's head eventing team, which is based at the farm. There's an indoor plus outdoor arena, a cross country field, and plenty of room in surrounding farmland to hack out or do interval training. Tanya especially, along with the farm and stable managers are big on barn and horse safety - this is the kind of place where you will find no sharp corners or edges, breakaway hooks on every cross tie and rope, everything up to code, well-maintained paddocks and fencing, no dogs allowed, etc. If someone is doing something that's not leading to the optimum safety and protection of their and others horses, they'll be told so. The stalls, wash rack, tack room, and aisle are kept very clean. Quality is valued in every lesson beginner to advanced, and in horse care. Stall-care horses are fed twice per day, with pasture-care horses brought in by staff for daily feedings for a reasonable added fee as needed. 12 stall barn, 5 big pastures, and smaller paddocks for overflow/quarantine horses. They throw good hay in the winter and provide up to 2 scoops per day of high quality Hallway feeds grain for pasture horses, included in the price of board. The unofficial barn farrier & barn vet are top-notch and preferred in their fields by sport horse owners. Plus, the barn cats are AWESOME. They have their own Instagram @catsofthreedayfarm .
