My mother has been a customer of Farmers Bank for over 50 years, having grown up in Milton. Yesterday, she found a fraudulent charge to her debit card and called the bank to report it. The representative she spoke with told her there was nothing they could do and she needed to call the company that posted the charge. My mother did so and could not resolve the issue as the company appears to not actually exist. She called the bank back multiple times and finally spoke with a representative who told her she could report the charge as fraud but if she was lying they would not issue her another debit card. My mother is almost 80 years old and has never reported a fraudulent charge on her account. She’s been a loyal customer with not only having a checking and savings account, but a mortgage and several car loans with this bank. This is how her loyalty is rewarded, by accusing her of lying and refusing to help.

I switched to Farmers Bank of Milton after being lead on by my other bank for a business loan of 100k +/- after being a customer of more than 5 yrs. I went to Farmers Bank and was approved for the loan with no problems and was able to purchase my building and in a yr just closed on my 2nd loan. My business is still doing well and I will be moving into my new building by next June. I will always be a loyal customer of Farmers Bank of Milton where they still believe in the small business owner.
