Conley Bottom has become my Happy place. This is our 3rd summer staying here. We have rented the 1 bedroom cottage the last 2 years (#3). The cottage is always clean. The beds are comfy and the pull out sofa gives an extra bed if needed. The kitchen is stocked with pots, skillets, baking sheet, strainer, dishes, plus silverware and cooking utensils. They also provide trash bags, dish soap and kitchen linens. The view from the cottage never gets old as it faces the lake. There are 2 swivel chairs on the porch as well as a picnic table. If you have a boat, your rental fee includes a slip which is down the hill from the cottage. My son and grandson fished off the bank(they allow fishing on the bank to the right of the dock near the cottages and at Fisherman's Warf at the campground), and caught several fish. In season, they sell pizza and ice cream from the ship store and there is a Restaurant at the dock. We live about an hour away so it's close enough to drive home if something unforeseen comes up.

Can't reserve spots. It's a first come first serve. No need to stop in the office. Drive around, pick a spot and Paul will come around and check you in. Good luck finding a halfway level spot. We were lucky and it wasn't busy so we got a nice wide spot near the bathrooms and showers and laundry. In the main area. ( full hookup by office) there is no sewer connections and no cable. Could only get 3 off channels. We are here "off season" and the restaurant doesn't open until May 2. It's quite a walk down the pier to the store and restaurant. There are cabins on other side of marina from Rv sites. Plenty of ramps to put boat in water. There is not a lot of signage where to go so got to ask many questions instead of someone explaining things to you. Prices are cheap right now. Average of $29 per night.

First time back down there since the fire. We used to go down there and eat at the Lighthouse Cafe all the time. We didn't eat today at the new place but we did get the ice cream cone. Really pretty, really nice job rebuild. Looking forward to coming back down there we're not far away we live in Somerset.
