One star is way too generous for this establishment. On 10/23/23, service member Brittany informed us my 2019 Jeep needed a new transfer case. We gave her the go ahead to order it and she stated it would be new and coming from a Chrysler warehouse. Brittany stated she would go ahead and order it and let us know when the Jeep was ready to be picked up. We called for an update on 11/1 just to check in on their progress. Brittany stated the part was coming from New Jersey and hadn't came in yet. We asked what the time frame was, however she stated she would have to call back the next day with our tracking number. We continued being patient and called again on 11/6 since Brittany never called us back as she said she would. On this date we spoke with Joe, the service manager. Joe stated no one had ever ordered the part and that he was going to charge us an additional $500 for the part, despite us already agreeing on the price with Brittany in 10/23. We informed him on the agreement we had with Brittany, however she refused to talk with us on this date (we heard their conversation as Joe sat the phone down and didn't put us on hold.) So Brittany lied to us during our previous conversation when she told us she had ordered the part. Joe became quite rude and told us we could just go to New Jersey and pick up the part ourselves. He made it very clear that Tim Short does NOT value their customers. Joe stated he hadn't been at work and needed to sort this out and that he would call us back. After over an hour of no communication, we called again and Brittany answered. She stated she wasn't aware of the price change and that Joe gave her the go ahead to look for a used part instead. We stated we wanted the new part at the quote she originally provided on 10/23. Brittany stated she was told last week of the price change, however she never mentioned it to us and as previously stated, Brittany had stated on 11/1 that the part had already been ordered and enroute. We then requested to speak to her boss, which was Joe. Once again, Joe was rude and never apologized for what he claimed to be his employees error. When we asked why Brittany was looking for a used part, Joe stated there were no new parts available. We reminded Joe just an hr or so earlier he said there was a new one in New Jersey and now he's saying there isn't one. Joe then stated if we wanted to pay $500 more or go to New Jersey ourselves then yes we could get a new one. This all contradicts the original discussion with Brittany on 10/23.We then asked to speak with his supervisor, Gary Marcum(General Manager/Operating Partner Manager.) Our call was sent straight to voicemail and we have not received a call back. Tim Short Dealership has made it very clear that they are not only deceptive liars, but they do not care about their customers.**UPDATE**On 11/7, we went to the dealership to attempt to speak with Gary in person. While we were able to have a professional conversation with him, there was no resolve to the issue. While we had already caught Joe in several lies; after reviewing the paperwork they had on my Jeep, we caught him in another. He advised he was unaware of the original quote from Brittany, however I located the paperwork that showed the original quote.I also located an interesting sheet that broke down the costs they were going to charge me. The document showed they were going to charge me a $500 core fee. So this means they were going to gain $1000 from the repair ($500 from me and then $500 from the company when they return the core fee once receiving my used part.) In conclusion, I will never do business, nor recommend anyone conduct business with this dealership.

In my opinion these guys are CROOKS! You would be a fool to buy or even get service from this dealership. We traveled 7 hours to buy a BRAND NEW 2020 ProMaster City mini van. It was supposed to have 22 miles on it. BRAND NEW like I said. I already cancelled another deal from another state very close in price. So after 7 hours in the car and putting down the money and working through most of the paperwork they slip a mileage agreement that said it had 659 miles on it. Everybody there knew we were being cheated but no one did or said anything. They LIED LIED LIED. How can you ever buy from a dealer like this. And how can you even get your car serviced from a dealer who has an internal ethos of CHEATING THE CUSTOMER. I received very standard follow up from the Tim Short group looking for a good rating but when I told them what happened they dropped me like a hot potato. GO ELSEWHERE. This place is crooked.

This auto dealer took advantage of my teenage granddaughter who went alone to purchase a car there. When she went back five weeks later, realizing she'd made a mistake, we were hoping that they would allow her to return the car. We weren't expecting a full payoff at all but we were hoping that they work with us. Instead they were rude and unwilling to help. The only offer if you wanna call it that was they'd take it back if she would write them a check for $9000! I was told "no one held a gun to her head" and "no one twisted her arm." No they didn't but to allow a teenager to finance a car at 15% interest (and then try to tell me that that was a good rate) is not good business, at least not for the buyer. Today I was told she should have bought something less expensive. You think? Why didn't you suggest that the first time?

Just a word to the wise I wouldn't recommend buying a vehicle off of Tim Short Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Ford of MoreheadI'll be posting reviews everyone I can find since apparently they do not care about their customers and especially the safety of their customers which highly upsets me since I haul Noah in the vehicle that they sold me which within two days breaks down in the middle of the road...Edit: bought a vehicle cash was told it didn't have any issues. Within two day's we drove it to TN where it completely stopped at every red light on the way to gatlinburg like legit shutoff. I would have to hold my foot on gas and brake at same time to keep it from going off. Replaced two sensors since the check engine light came on that same day and that's what it was reading. Worked fine and then we got it back to Morehead was going to get jarrett in west liberty and broke down at a red light thankfully my children wasn't in the car. We had to have it towed to Tim short they wouldn't do it. They said the dealership probably wouldn't cover it but give us a big discount which wasn't right in my opinion. They have had it a week now and I tried to call our sales guy cause he's supposed to be Sammys friend who wouldn't answer. I called the sales manager who ask me if I had spoke to service (mind you I had never once spoke to service) then they said well the service guy should be calling you. I asked when he said by tomorrow. So then I asked if they could tell me what it was ba she said he had no clue. So now a car I bought paid cash for that is supposed to be a good running car is going to cost me a bloody fortune.
