I went here looking for shoes. I had to looked at 3 other stores. JV Penney had what I wanted, and T a great price. Staff was welcoming and friendly. I only bought shoes but the prices on nice clothing were good too.

I have been very pleased with most of my shipping to my home from JC penny, but this order has become a problem for me because the wrong sandals were sent. I have a box that has the right label on it with the wrong sandals. I wear size 5 and received a size 8 in the wrong sandals. The mistake has caused me to travel over 50 miles to try to exchange them. There wasn’t a return label in my order. Quality control needs to be checked better.

JCPenney has some good finds if you're willing to dig. They carry decent brands and have frequent sales, which is great. However, the stores can feel cluttered and a bit outdated. Finding the right size in the style you want can be a hassle, and the online experience isn't always much better. Their customer service is hit-or-miss too. It's worth checking out, especially for deals, but don't expect a high-end shopping experience.

I'm glad we have this store in our town, and I do a lot of my Christmas shopping there. However, what's the deal with opening at 11:00 a.m? That's better than "banker's hours" because most banks are open by then! I went to pick up an online order at 10:20 a.m. and the door was locked. Two women approached the door after I found it locked, and I told them that they weren't open, and they both left. C'mon, Penney's, you can do better than this.
