“This was the best merchandised and stocked Dollar General that I have ever seen. I had to ask for the manager so that I could personally give her accolades. I think every Dollar General employee should be trained at this location or at least visit so that they could see a model example of what a Dollar General should be like. I only have one regret. I lost my and my son’s receipts and could not post this message directly through the corporate system. The manager and staff was so friendly. I hope you get acknowledged and credit for a Google post. You deserve it!”
“Great staff always helpful... And last but not least this should go without saying they don't lock the store a minute early. I only say this because every store in Mount Vernon Kentucky especially Dollar general they first turn off any lights that signal to the public that they are open. That little trick starts about 45 minutes before official closing time. 30 minutes before official closing time your doors are locked and you have to knock on them. 15 or 20 minute Mark before closing time they are gone.”

“I am pleased to see so many friendly employees and I love how the customer service is, Im a regular shopper here and I have noticed how there are so many friendly employees that make me feel satisfied with shopping there and I do recommend they all get raises as they work hard and keep a smile for all of the customers showing how they will help anytime you need it. Actually this is the best branch as well.”
