Lone Star Farm & Home, founded by Valerie and Neal in April 2011, is a welcoming store located in Mt. Vernon. After realizing the need for local farm supplies, they hand-selected a variety of products they personally trusted. The store offers a wide assortment of items, including automotive supplies, animal feeds, dog and cat food, and more. Customers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, who are knowledgeable about farm supplies and eager to assist. Many shoppers find the prices affordable and enjoy the "Mom and Pop" atmosphere. The store even has a bulk feed delivery service with a 3-ton minimum. With a selection suitable for all ages, including toys and gifts, Lone Star Farm & Home is a beloved local destination for both farm needs and pet supplies, making it a favorite among the community.
The nicest people work here, they treat you like family. This store has everything I need and is super clean. Their prices are definitely cheaper than any big brand store. I will be a customer for life!

I have been getting belts and chainsaw chains here. I also get other items like chicken feed, dog and cat food. They have had what I need and very affordable.
