We're blessed to have such an amazing USPS team here!! I've had lots of problems with Fedex, but not our local post office! The one time I had a package misplaced our local USPS solved it quickly and gave me peace of mind because believe me, I panicked! I have been doing business with this post office since the end of 2021 and they all deserve raises and credit where it is due. Also give them some grace because they've got some newbies! If you ever do have a problem with a lost package stay calm and come in and talk to them and they'll help you, just like they did with me.

I had an order from temu and the package was ripped opened and taped back together. I also had with that another order that said was delivered, which was a bean bag chair. I NEVER received it and my husband went to the post office to pick it up and they said it was delivered…. Lies. So someone from the post office either took it which they ripped open our package and it was taken back together. And then they proceeded to lie to my husband, and said that it was delivered which it was not. And I can provide proof of every package and everything that was delivered which they cannot provide me with my beanbag chair.

We are fortunate here at Mt. Vernon to have a group there that takes pride in their work, goes the extra mile to help and advise. Kudos! Only issue is parking situation - hazardous entering or leaving in heavy traffic.

Fine post office, but the post master seams to be a bit less them helpful when it comes to getting mail service started.
