I stayed at the full hookup RV site and very much enjoyed my stay. Everything was easy to access, clean and worked properly. I plan to stay again. I've included pictures of the hookup side bc people rarely show that.

There's really not a lot to write about at this FamCamp. If we had *any* shade at all (🤣), I'd give it 5 stars, however, it was BLAZING hot on these concrete pads. Basically, the 4 stars come from it being a safe place to sleep/park our RV for a few days.

My husband and grandsons went fishing at their lake, and they had a great time. It was very clean and they met some very nice people. We live close to there, so we will be going back.

Beautiful campground with cabins, RV lots and tent camping available. There is a lake, walking trails, fishing, disc golf, pavilions, and a creek and lots of open space for pets and children to play. Maintenance does a great job keeping the grounds, bathrooms and laundry facility clean. Office staff is also friendly and helpful. The ONLY downside to this beautiful area is the lack of wifi and poor cell reception. (We heard they recently signed a wifi contract so hopefully that comes available soon). Easy 10 min drive to Fort Knox main gate and Patton Museum. One of the nicest RV parks we've stayed and we full time. Great rates as well. RV sites were $30 per night or $35 for a pull thru site. FHU

Great MWR facility! The new cabins are wonder and we'll done. Walking distance from the lake if you want to fish. Couches and beds are comfortable. You have to bring your own bed linens and towels so make sure you do, if not the ft Knox PS is only 15 minutes away! Staff was friendly and the facilities are really nice, it's well maintained. If you stay in the cabin it has TVs but no TV service and no WiFi so you either have to have stuff downloaded to your iPad or computer to use the TV as a large monitor or have a GREAT hotspot. Phone service for AT&T and Verizon was not great, for me. But your coming here to relax and get away so disconnect! Great facility overall, if your eligible for MWR benefits definitely worth checking out.
Nearby activities: Fishing, hiking.

I would have given the campground a higher rating because the buildings and grounds are very well maintained and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The campground is also quiet, and well maintained.
The reason for not giving it 5 stars is because of the cell service, which I completely understand is no fault of the people here. I have Verizon and the service is absolutely terrible. I use Verizon both for phone and internet. In 1/2 the park you can't send or receive calls because there is no service. In the parts of the park where there is service you will have 1 bar, maybe 2 if you're lucky. If you're familiar with how to do a field test with your phone, typical DB ratings are -114 to -118. That is absolutely the worst. Forget trying to stream anything. It just can't be done. Typically you would want a signal in the -90 -> -70 range for it to efficiently stream. You just aren't going to get that here. If having little to no cell service isn't a big deal to you, or if you use Starlink or a different provider for internet then you may be OK but if you use Verizon, you may want to reconsider staying here. Especially if you work from the road.

Nice campground. Quite. Well maintained. Showers are roomy and they have ADA compliant mens and women's shower. Grass is kept mowed. Mature trees around a lot of the sites. Paved roads and gravel pads. Fenced play area for dogs. Laundry facilites are clean and very reasonable.
Be sure.to bring quaters as there is no dollar changer. Only real complaint is no internet or cable.
