I moved to Murray with my brothers temporarily after caring for our mother who recently passed away. We couldn’t work up the nerve to go through her things because it was too difficult so we put her things and the little bit of things I had in storage. My brother was taking care of the payment, has I’m currently dealing with medical issues and not working. My brother missed a payment and called to make the payment and they said everything was auctioned off. The pillows my mom made, her drift wood chair that she promised us to never sell, all of her clothes… all of my high school memories…. It’s like I’m grieving all over again! How can you not tell someone their things are being auctioned off?!?!?! Things of my mom’s I will never see again. Her writings, things that smelled like her …I’ve rented storage units my whole adult life and I’ve NEVER heard of a place just selling off your things with no notice. Month and a half late and even called to let them now the payment was coming …. Just heartless!
