Only out for the money. We understand it’s a small business, but in area that gets millions of visitors every year. To charge people 20% when they cancel in PLENTY of time not sure how you justify taking an extra 16% over the initial credit card fee, Poor business practices. Will make sure our friends and family do not stay here. Vacationers beware!

We just returned home from a 7 day stay at Lakeview Cottages and we could not have had a better experience. We brought our 3 young boys and a few other family members with us. We were able to rent a boat slip for our boat all week and a golf cart to drive the property. As far as vacation experiences go, this has to be my favorite. The property is so calm and peaceful and the owners will literally help you with or take care of anything for you. The cabins come filled with basic necessities for cooking. We grocery shopped for the week and made all of our meals in the cabin with no issues. The private beach area was perfect for our children to swim and we had a fire every night in the fire pit. If you are looking for a tranquil getaway, this is the place. It’s exactly what you would expect for a “cabin in the woods” getaway.I would love to see the addition of a small vacuum added to the cabin as you do track in a lot of dirt and sand from outdoors and it was impossible to keep the floors clean with just a broom. Other than that, we have absolutely no complaints at all.The price is unbeatable. We will definitely be returning next year and have talked about making it our family tradition every year now!

We have a camper in the next campground, but rent cabins and golf carts for family overflow. The owners are great people and easy to work with. They have added so much to the campground and made it look great. The cabins are clean and comfortable to stay in.

We rented a pontoon boat for a family of 8; fantastic experience. The owners of the Marina are lovely folks - very warm and welcoming. They walked us through the basics and advanced operations and sent us on our way with a thorough tutorial on the best spots in Lake Kentucky. We lucked out a bit with a perfect boat day, but it was compounded and made truly wonderful by the experience at LVM. We will definitely be back again and again. Recommend this location and boat rental facility to any looking for a great day on the lake.

Our family rented a pontoon for three days in a row in mid-July. What a great experience. The owners are the friendliest and most helpful. They have extremely clean and well-maintained equipment. We will definitely be back!

Convenient location for fisherman but terribly over priced . Cabin didn’t have any paper towels, and furniture and beds are extremely old. Stayed in fishing cabins very similar that were 1/2 the price and didn’t have an ant and spider problem .. shower jumps temperature from scalding hot to freezing cold . Lot of better options on Kentucky lake . Do not recommend and will not be back
