STAY AWAY! I strongly advise steering clear of Eugene for anything other than the simplest handyman work. I fired him mid-job after adding up all his mistakes that can only be explained by incompetence or intent to deceive. I hired Eugene to replace rotting internal supports for 3 stairs on my outdoor deck. I specifically asked him to salvage the exterior boards that were in good shape so everything would still match. When I returned later, I saw that he had destroyed many of the good exterior boards during removal and was replacing them with cheap pine he planned to paint brown - even though nothing else on the deck is painted! He told me it was too much work to pull the screws out of the old decking, even though I asked him to quote exactly that. Beyond that, he bought the wrong size wood to match the supports, his stair stringers were sloppily cut and uneven with each other, and he was going to run multiple days over his original time estimate. Eugene's communication is very poor and his work is sloppy. Now, I'm holding $200 of useless material after returning what I could, and I have no way to cover up all the overcut saw marks in places on the deck he shouldn't have even touched. The stairs were literally better when they were rotting. Best to go find a real handyman with some skills and attention to detail!

RUN! Do not use any of his services! Not only did he state he was a certified plumber (which he is not) he is a Home Depot plumber who cannot even weld. It all began when he couldn’t even finish a few hour plumbing job in 1 day. It took 3 days for him to turn a hot and cold valve in a shower into one (and still managed to do it wrong and not to code.) I let him finish the job where he managed to not even have the depth for the tile correct or have the pipes anywhere near even

I let him finish the job where he managed to not even have the depth for the tile correct or have the pipes anywhere near even. The next day I arrived after getting a call from a tenant stating water was coming into the basement. His welding which he doesn't know much about ended up failing and bursting everywhere.... SAVE YOUR MONEY & USE A REAL PLUMBER! Here is a picture of his work versus the real plumber work! (Funny enough he managed to forget who I was after reaching out to let him know his work wasn't correct)
