Coaches corner is the best place. It's so much fun & the food is delicious!! The service is EXCELLENT!! You won't find a better local hangout! Casey behind the bar is a real treasure, she makes you want to come back everyday! Truly there is nothing better, it's Newport finest hidden gem if you haven't been before!

Went on a Saturday just for drinks. It was small and quaint. We all liked it. Nice patio with heaters and fire pit. We will return on a night when burgers are served. Heard they were awesome!

This is the best little bar you have ever been too. I would suggest a game day to get the full experience! Great people!!!

How many years have I wasted just driving by Coach's Corner? What a shame! Last night, for the first time, I spent the evening there for the 2nd annual tapping of the Edmund Fitzgerald keg. What a wonderful place to be! Seldom do the all the attributes of a good bar/restaurant converge in just one location. First, it's a family business and has been for 30+ years. Husband/wife team and kids run the place and they care about their customers---most of whom they know personally. Second, the pub fare of burgers and fries is fantabluous. I LOVE my burgers juicy and sloppy and they do it the best. Food is only served Tue-Wed-Thu-Fri from 4 to 8 pm and I suspect it's so the owners can get away for a 3-day weekend. After 30 years, how smart is that? Brilliant! Third, the beer selection (both on tap and in the can) are unparalleled for a smaller establishment like this. Fourth, prices are reasonable, unlike many bars/restaurants these days where you have to drive a Brink's truck there to pay for it. Finally, the overall ambiance is just delightful, whether you're outside (by the fire pit) or inside. Located in downtown Newport, but removed from the craziness of the levy, it doesn't get any better (free on street parking and lot parking, too). This is going to be one my new haunts.

Looking for that awesome burger....it's here! That juicy burger.....it's here! That flavorful burger......it's here! That cooked to order, medium burger......it here! It's an 8 napkin burger, IYKYK! And the potato wedge fries are cut and dropped to order, soooo good, and hot ! It's a great neighborhood bar, with attentive and friendly hospitality. This was our first visit and we felt like regulars by the time we left. The Brewers and their staff make you feel very welcome, you just want to return again. Five thumbs up !

Had never been there and was told by a neighbor that they had great hamburgers and chicken. So we went there before a Bengal game to try the burgers. They were great and very reasonable pricing. Will definitely go there again and try the chicken. Will sit outside at the picnic tables next time to.

We love eating here and hanging out! I've never had a bad meal or beer. It only took coming in twice before the bartenders remembered our drinks. My only complaint is that I can't get a coach's burger 7 days a week but I guess it helps the anticipation build :)

Just came across this place looking at other places on Google and found out this is bar AND A GRILL. I've drove past many times over the years and never went in due to it just being an old bar. They need a sign outside saying it's a restaurant too. I look forward to stopping in and trying out some good looking sandwiches will say3 * till I actually make it in or if I drive past and see a restaurant sign. I will be in soon to experience what looks like a great place from the pictures on Google

We arrived with six adults and 8 children and sat at the outside patio. Other families showed up while we were there. Plenty of seating outside. Staff didn't bat an eye and took fantasic care of us. Brought us all water almost immediately and even brought the kids food out early (we didn't even ask!), which was appreciated. Food was delicious. We all enjoyed our meals. I highly recommend The Beeb. They brought chalk out for the kids. Met the owner who was incredibly nice as well.I will be visiting Coaches Corner again both dor the service and the delicious food. Highly recommend.
