Sarah the pharmacy tech was very helpful with transferring a prescription from another store, and was able to get it filled MUCH faster than I thought they could.

This pharmacy is a really good pharmacy.Some tips for you guys, that don’t seem to understand.Mondays are the busiest days, and people seem to complain a lot about it. Monday is the busiest day due to the doctors offices reopening and individuals wanting their refills. Mondays are the worst time to come to the pharmacy due to that reason. large crowds.Lunch is 1 to 1:30. this is the only break the workers get. i understand it’s frustrating at times but when working 8-10 hour shifts that break is crucial. the workers have no control over that, it’s policy. so just keep that in mind.as for rudeness, 99.9% of the time workers there are kind and not rude. usually not rude unless the customer is. working in customer service is brutal and they get cussed at daily.i understand some of the frustrations individuals have , but at the same time you guys need to think they are just people trying to do their job the best they can.if you were working customer service i think you would understand more openly.again i get the frustration every once in awhile but just be open minded.mondays = busiest due to doctors offices.the workers get literally one break for lunch.be kind.also not to mention kroger cut overtime hours for them.and are short staffed.

If i could give this place zero stars I would. NONE of the pharmacists actually read notes attached to the patient’s files and CONSTANTLY mix up medications by giving brands that patients cannot take instead of the originally prescribed ones. EVERY time it’s time to get a refill I have to fight for the medications I need that my doctor prescribed. I have yet to meet a pharmacist at this location that has made anything easy.

The First Lady that I spoke with was extremely rude. I felt like I was bothering her by being there. When I went back to pick up my medication the person who assisted me went above and beyond and is the reason they did not get a lower score. I have been to the pharmacy before and most of them are like the Second Lady I encountered.

This is the worst pharmacy on the planet. Nothing is ever done when they say it will be and they somehow lose prescriptions, more than once, requiring your doctor to resend them.I genuinely don’t understand how it’s possible to be this bad. If they’re that busy or short staffed, Kroger needs to pay up and hire more employees.Everytime I send a prescription here it’s a stressful event not knowing if they will lose it or when it will be filled.

It would be nice if Krogers Pharmacy in Newport, Ky would stagger their lunches instead of everyone taking a lunch at the same time. I unknowing walked up as lunch started at 1:00pm and was told it’s only 30 minutes in a condescending tone. It would have only taken 1 minute to grab my prescription. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Something is seriously wrong when you have two lanes of traffic in the pharmacy drive thru and an inside line of at least 20 people down aisles on a Monday night. What happened to this store?

If I could give negative stars I would. Drive thru closed so line in store was over an hour long. Finally I was the next person in line and one of the two employees shuts down a register and goes to fill prescriptions. Mind you there were a bunch of people filling prescriptions and now only 1 person checking people out...and the line behind me is still as long as it was when I got in it. Of course there was an issue with the prescriptions for the person that single operator was checking out so after yet another 15-20 minutes if waiting the 2nd operator finally came back to check me out. When I left the line was now all the way back past the front doors. I understand being short handed but it is ALWAYS something with this pharmacy. If I were picking up my own medicine and not my mother's I would never ever use them.

Incredibly slow! Both at filling prescriptions and at the drive thru. Doctor calls in prescription and takes over a day to get filled. Plus the associates attitude and demeanor is always horrible!

How is it that the best Kroger in the area has the absolute worst pharmacy. Long lines. Nothing is ever filled. So back waiting in yet more long lines. Called prescriptions last week and still not filled. Never had this happen with a pharmacy. It’s always like this too. Trust the reviews.

This pharmacy is ridiculously unorganized. You call to get a prescription refilled and they will say it will be ready the next day but then you go to pick it up and then they say oh it won't be ready till the next day and then I mentioned that's for my wife's seizures and they said oh we can have it in 30 minutes but they just told us they can't have it ready till the next day... What kind of people are running this pharmacy it is very unprofessional and ridiculous.... Me and my wife are switching to another pharmacy one that's a little more professionally organized and I advise others to do the same.
