Was pretty disappointed in our trip here, we drove over 2 hours to visit this aquarium and paid ahead but still had to wait a hour in line for the ticket booth with our 3 children under 5. Also there isn’t enough restrooms we had to back track a lot just for the bathroom. Seemed the farther you got in less bathrooms. I didn’t think it was very clean either. And the elevator situation is just ridiculous. We had our wonderfold wagon so stair weren’t an option for us. We spent more time figuring out where everything was and getting in then actually enjoying a good experience!

It was very busy, as I'm told pretty much every weekend is, but still a pleasant experience. Certain areas got more crowded, but the aquarium has a nice flow that keeps people moving. We loved that there were multiple experiences where the animals could be touched. Despite the crowds we spent over 2 hours at the aquarium with a 2 year old. We will definitely be returning sometime on a weekday so we can take our time even more when there's less of a crowd.

The process of buying ticket is extremely slow. We were more than 40 minutes with less than 30 degrees outside with 3 and 4 years old kids. Other families were struggling with their kids because the cold weather. The process to check or buy tickets must improve or need to move to an inside Area. It is inhumane what they are doing to the kids waiting to buy a tiket. This place is just beside the river. So, it dos feel cooler there. It is no worth to put your child in a line with extreme cold for a tiket in this place.

Meh. Mediocre. They do a good job, most of the people there are friendly and professional, the attractions are cool and they have some interesting fish! But overall it’s much smaller than what I was expecting, fewer attractions than what I was expecting, and not enough organized programs to properly accommodate the people there. It’s just not an exciting experience. Some of the corridors are too small and families “line up” just to walk from one section to another. Sorry but these aren’t real queues, there is no line!Tip: pre-purchase your tickets, it’s a lot faster to get in and the entry process is very smooth.I can’t recommend this place to anyone, and there’s no need for me to ever go back.

$55+ for 1 adult and a 2.5 year old to visit. Surrounded by a high school tour group the whole time who cursed and continued to run into us and block my daughter’s view for everything. It was fairly interactive for kids, but insanely expensive. We didn’t know about the pre k membership until we got there. They offered it to us, but then told us we had to have her birth certificate. Who carries around a birth certificate?

Super fun! Favorite parts are sitting to watch the penguins dive in and out of the water (plus getting to see them get fed lunch around 3:00!) and petting the stingray heads!Only gave 4 stars because they need a few water fountains!

It was super fun! Clean and not too crowded. They only sell a curtain amount of ticket per time slot. Bathrooms where clean.I recommend getting your tickets before you go for a quicker check in especially if your going in a weekend. We didn't do that and had to wait around 2 hours until 5.Plenty to do nearby especially for kids if you have to wait. The aquarium has a huge gift shop and cafe to eat and stuff.

A beautiful place for a day with the family and encourages excitement and learning for even the youngest visitors. The kids loved seeing the sharks, turtles, frogs, fish, and eels. With multiple stations along the way that allow you to pet the animals and lots of areas for kids to climb in and under, including a playroom, it was a great way of keeping the kids engaged. In all we had a wonderful time and look forward to our next visit. My only complaint was the lack of handicap buttons for the doors, they are appreciated and would've made a big difference with strollers as well.

We always enjoy our trips to Newport Aquarium. My kids learn a lot and have fun. The areas to pet the sting rays and sharks are favorite areas for my family. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They update the aquarium often.

Always a great time! If you do go I highly recommend scheduling your time and getting your tickets online to avoid the crowd.

Lots of interesting displays, tanks, and fun facts. Waaaay too crowded on the weekend! Go during the weekdays!! We parked in the parking garage and were challenged to find signage to return to our car. Finally took the elevator instead of the stairs and that’s how we figured it out, but the elevator parking floor color buttons didn’t match up with where we parked, which was pretty confusing!I ordered discounted tickets ahead through AAA, which was convenient to bypass the lines!

We went recently to activate the free Pre-K membership and as always, my 2 1/2yr old loved it. We were able to enjoy it a bit more now that he's older! Only thing I wish was that adult tickets and photos weren't so expensive. The membership being free was worth the drive and it's definitely something we hoped to use frequently (we're an hour drive) but having to make sure we have enough money for adult tickets is always a factor.

Nice place but there chat line on Facebook messenger sucks you can’t get a direct answer about anything on there. You try to ask them stuff & they want you to call or look it up yourself what’s the point of having a chat line if you can’t get direct answers
