Currently have a newborn baby and I used curbside pickup for the convenience of not needing to go into the store during flu season. I was missing several items and didn’t notice until I returned home. I contacted the store and was placed on hold or transferred multiple times I’ve the course of a half hour. Eventually I speak with a a manager who said I have to come into the store to get my refund on the missing items which by the way is 20 minutes from my house. The whole point of curbside pickup is to not go into the store. Will never return to the Newport location.

Terrible. I don't know if it's just this location or if Walgreens as a company is simply going down the tubes. The pharmacy has been understaffed for months (pro tip - pay your employees and you might be able to hire someone) and they now claim that certain common prescriptions that I need are "no longer available from our wholesaler" - or at least that's the current excuse. 5-minute call to a nearby CVS confirmed both "unobtainable" prescriptions were in-stock and with no difficulty obtaining them. Guess where all of the current and future prescriptions for my family are now being transferred?

The store was clean and pulled, staff was there to help find children's Tylenol. The pharmacy was very busy due to the volume of people it serves.

This is the worst Walgreens pharmacy I’ve EVER dealt with. My doctor sent a refill in, took them three days to fill it when I was completely out. Called them four times. Had my dad called and they were able to give me five pills to last until the rest came in. I got a notification that the rest were ready. I had my boyfriend go get it. THEY LOST MY MEDICINE!!! I have one pill out of the five left and they don’t know when they’ll get more. The pharmacist I talked too was SO rude. After I get this prescription I’m switching pharmacies. I’m so OVER this.

I tried to get a passport photo taken, waited for 15 minutes and left. The woman who was working in the photo area left while I was standing there and never came back. One of the cashiers called twice and requested someone to come and help me. She even saw me standing there and left anyway. Rude as heck and totally unprofessional!

So I do tend to order quite often from Walgreens. Today I got home and my order was on the porch and my soap powder was busted I had soap powder all down my porch all down my steps it was just a nasty mess. I called Walgreens they agreed to resend a couple of the items but unfortunately they did say that the soap powder that I had ordered was not available at that price right now and they would have to send me out a check for that amount. Now I'm not happy about receiving a check but at least I'm getting my money back so I am happy about that.

WORTHLESS!! Couldn’t find children’s Pepto so went to the pharmacy. No such thing says the pharmacist! Pharmacist aide goes with me to the Children’s section because she thinks there’s something there to show the pharmacist and see if that will work for a kid’s tummy ache. Both products she looked for the shelves were empty so she said they were out. Should I call the Highland Heights Walgreens and see if they have it (hoping she would call). Yes, she says you can call them and see if they’re in stock, we don’t know what they stock. Target store in Newport Pavilion SAVES THE DAY!!! There IS such a product!! Next time I’m headed there first!!!

I understand everyone is short staffed but unfortunately when it's about 50/50 that the pharmacy is open during posted hours there's just no reason to keep going back.The people are nice but the pharmacy is stretched too thin to function well. Considering they only recently got posted lunch breaks can't imagine yes the best place to work

I was in the store today to buy several items. One item would not scan. The clerk tried 3 times to scan and then called for a manager 3 times but no one responded. I told her to process the order without the item in question.The clerk through no fault of her own was embarrassed and I was humiliated because I felt people in line thought it was fault and one man offered to pay for the item which I could have paid for except for the fact that no one came to assist the clerk.

If you take any kind of medication that you are out of or is needed for immediate health, do not use this location. Long lines, clueless staff, and even if your dr sent it in 6 hours prior, it will NOT be ready. Instructed to wait for text which almost never comes through. My husband had to go 2 days without his heart medication waiting on a text.

The worst walgreens of them all... called my blood pressure medicine in 5 hours early, and it still wasn't ready till the following day! Always a long wait and rhe cashiers ans employees are rude... taking my business elsewhere from here on out....

I made a pharmacy order online and was told to pick it up the next day 5/17/22 after 10AM. Arrived at this Walgreens in Newport Oregon and was greeted by a condescending arrogant & rude clerk. When I was informed the prescription couldn't be filled until May 23rd I asked why wasn't I informed before I drove 30 miles and she said "you should have called", really, Walgreens should not have confirmed the order to be picked up after 10AM, sent me an email saying it couldn't be filled, or called me. When I said great customer service she further demonstrated her incompetent customer service by saying "and your a great customer". I left very mad & if any other pharmacy was covered with my insurance in Newport OR I would use them. I like how I am treated at CVS and regret having to give Walgreens any business for anything.

WORST PHARMACY EVER!!!! Monday my doctor called me in a prescription for cold medicine and amoxicillin at 4:30. I currently have covid and strep. I get there at 8:30 and they said that my antibiotic was ready but not the cold medicine like huh? It’s been over 4 hours at this point!! So I didn’t get my prescription until after 9. 2 days later (today) my mother-in-law and fiance goes to get another prescription for me at 5:30 that was called in at 11:30(1 pill) and they say it still isn’t ready after I get a text at 5:12 saying it was ready. Very rude staff and very understaffed. I usually use Covington Kroger which has my prescription ready ASAP but I moved closer to this one so thought I would try them out but never again! Go to a different pharmacy or location please.

This Walgreens badly needs to be updated. The pharmacy is horrible , slow and needs new staff.. I’ve never been asked my relationship to the patient when picking up my moms meds ? I had already given my ID and we have the same last name.. smh. Their usually out of stock of a lot of things I buy…Only upside was I did find my daughter a Mickey/Minnie mouse squishmellow that I’ve never seen before that she will love.

They charged me twice for the same prescription and told me that they couldn’t do anything about it. ☹️
