If I could leave this pharmacy negative stars I would. The main pharmacist is always very cold and rude. My husband and I have been using the pharmacy for over a year for one prescription and every single month there is an issue when we call to have the medication filled. It's either an attitude and not filling the prescription by the date the doctor wrote the prescription for or just hanging up the phone everytime we call. This is now the 3rd occasion where we have called to have the prescription refilled we were told it would be ready in 2 hours, my husband drove into town 3 hours later and the prescription was not ready, not even started. Are you kidding me? People live busy lives and you should be able to expect that your medications are going to be ready when you are told but not with this pharmacy. I will never use them again. We switched to CVS today.

I wish I could give this pharmacy 0 stars. I recently switched my entire families prescriptions to the Kroger on South Main because their hours work better with our work schedules. I switched these LAST MONTH!! I went to Kroger to do some shopping and stopped by to get my son’s scripts filled. I came back to check on the progress after I checked my groceries out and they told me they could not fill them because the previous pharmacy already did and they couldn’t rebill the insurance. I remember a day when you could transfer prescriptions like this but they told me they couldn’t because the other pharmacy already got paid for them?!?! What??? I didn’t even have them yet. Anyway…. I went to the other pharmacy to get them and they absolutely denied filling them or processing the insurance. So I was stuck with no meds for my son because no one would fill them… Here we are 1 month later. I called to get the refills filled. The person on the phone said to come after 7pm and they would be ready. I went at 7:45. NOT READY!! I asked why? They said they didn’t know but it would be tomorrow now. The short blonde pharmacist was rude and hateful and could not give me a reason other than it was a transfer and taking longer than normal. I don’t understand. We went through this a month ago.
PSA: there is no such thing as customer service anymore.
Just for the record Ms. Pharmacist… you are not doing customers a favor by doing your job. You get paid to fill prescriptions and take care of customers NEEDING medication. It looks like this has been a common problem at this pharmacy for a very long time. It sounds like Kroger needs to invest in a new pharmacist and maybe the pharmacy will run more efficiently so that customers are not constantly going to pick up prescriptions that aren’t ready over and over.
Maybe some time management and customer service training is in order.
Kroger please do better. I am expected to perform at my job at certain expectations. I would hope that pharmacists would be held to a level of accountability for themselves AND their staff. This is people’s health and mental well being we are talking about.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. BOTH of my kids were severely sick, especially my son. He could barely breathe. I called Kroger pharmacy at 9 AM and transferred my sons medication over to them since CVS didn’t have it in stock. They told me it would be ready at 11am. I wasted my lunch driving over there to pick it up at NOON. They hadn’t even started the transfer. They told me then that it would be ready at 2pm and when we went back at 2:30pm IT STILL WASNT READY. I will NEVER use this pharmacy again, not to mention the staff was COMPLETELY RUDE each time we were there. Management should fire each and every one of them, such a terrible pharmacy.

They hang up every time you reach them with 0 explanation! Also it takes a good while to reach a person in the 1st place because their system doesn't work.. you press a button for an option and it just goes through all the options again over and over. Also their drive through is closed. People with small children and newborns don't want to take out their kids to get 1 item.

After several attempts to see if my mothers prescription was ready , almost a week to be exact. I called to check to see if the prescription was ready today. The pharmacy tech I spoke to was the rudest person I have ever spoken to. She kept telling me she couldn’t hear me in a very unprofessional manner. I informed her that I was hearing impaired and had to use hearing aids as my Bluetooth device. I asked why she was so rude, she said she wasn’t being rude. I hope that phone call was recorded for customer service training. How NOT to talk to a customer. I was humiliated by this pharmacy tech only to find out my Mother’s insurance would not cover the prescription. Neither my Mom nor her Dr received information from the pharmacy until today when I called. This is not my first bad experience here. Hopefully, it will be my last as we intend to transfer all our family prescriptions to another local pharmacy ASAP.

Worst pharmacy ever. Me and my family have always used Kroger and never had a problem at other locations but here is just a disgrace. A woman comes and tells us the medicine is ready and while we’re sitting there thinking she’s getting it together she takes it upon herself to help someone else and now after sitting for almost 25 minutes they wanted us to go to the back of the line where there’s at least 10 cars which would take forever to go through. And the other woman said she couldn’t do it for whatever reason. We asked about the medicine at 11:30am-12pm and they told us it would definitely be ready by 2 pm it’s now 3pm and it’s not ready at all. If it was minor medicine I wouldn’t be as mad but when someone’s health depends on it that’s a whole different type is angry.

Horrible. Each time I go to the er and have ti go get medicine I hear, "it just dropped". Doesn't matter if it's been 10 minutes or 3 hours. Had me wait an hour and a half, then an hour and a half more. Did not call er to discuss when my insurance didn't cover a med. Bad group, I'm going elsewhere. Please do yourself a favor and go someplace else.
