The store overall is just like any PetSmart and they are very welcoming of animals and pet parents. I had the unfortunate luck of working in their grooming salon and what I saw appalled me. I was told bathe every single dog as soon as it came in for times sake and that meant leaving even elderly dogs in a metal kennel soaking wet for up to an hour and I'm not comfortable with that. The groomers and even salon manager are routinely short with pet parents and pets. I don't see a lot of love for the animals there, there was a lot of indifference and even agitation most of the time. I don't feel my concerns were noted, so I at least wanted people to be aware.
At one point I asked one of the groomers for help on a set of nails for one of the dogs because they were jumping around and being high energy. This dog was cute and loving and even very calm throughout the bathing and drying process. The groomer came over and held on to that dog's paw so hard it yelped and put its mouth around her arm. It made me VERY uncomfortable and all of these add up to me not feeling okay working around them anymore

I recently visited the PetSmart at Brannon Crossing, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed! The store is always well-stocked, which means I can easily find everything I need for my pets without any hassle. The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful; they go out of their way to ensure you have a great shopping experience. From the wide selection of pet food to the variety of toys and accessories, this location has it all. I always leave with a smile, knowing my pets are well taken care of thanks to the amazing team at Brannon Crossing. Highly recommend this PetSmart!

I like petsmart, but please be careful with the grooming. All of the dog groomers are not good. I'm speaking from experience, and I have photos.

I would NOT recommend using their grooming services UNLESS you happen to be in the market for a couple of bad attitudes…. if so, Harlie and Brandon are the groomers for you! ☺️ The day of my appointment I completed pre check-in on the PetSmart app. I also confirmed the appt with Brandon when he called that morning to see if I could come earlier bc they had several cancellations/no-shows. Alas, Nicholasville Road traffic got the better of me and I arrived a few minutes late to my appt. I walked in and immediately apologized for being late. Instead of replying or acknowledging me, Harlie and Brandon ignored me (neat!) and immediately walked to the back of the grooming area. After standing and whispering to each other for several minutes while taking occasional stony glances in my direction (comfortable!) Harlie came to inform me that she would no longer groom my dog bc I arrived late. This, of course, was in spite of the fact that they had all those aforementioned NO-SHOWS and CANCELLATIONS which resulted in her standing there with NOTHING TO DO. I apologized again for being late and told her I was a little confused - why would she refuse the appt when she had nothing else to do? Fun fact: the grooming dept is open until 9:00 and my 5:00 appt was their last appt of the day… if you do the math (and it was a struggle, but I did! ?) that equals 4 whole hours of time. So how should one spend said 4 whole hours of time? Should one find it in their heart to do the job they were hired to do and honor a twice confirmed scheduled appointment (despite a slightly late arrival) OR should one say, “To heck with this job I was hired to do! I’m gonna make this person and their cute but (admittedly) disheveled dog pay for the sins of those who dared to no show earlier today!!!!” Alas, in this Choose Your Own Adventure, the latter option is the adventure Harlie and Brandon chose. ? But what a time the three of us had! What with all of the stony stares, lack of eye contact, and overall outrageously rude attitudes. Our time together was brief, but meaningful. ☺️☺️ Harlie, I hope you enjoyed your well-earned 4 hours of paid freedom and chose to invest that time wisely in the pursuit of an attitude adjustment, or better yet, a complete personality overhaul. Thank you both for being so incredibly generous with your bad attitudes. You could have kept them to yourselves, but instead you chose to generously impart them on me, a paying customer, and for that I will always be grateful. It is your complete lack of grace and kindness that I will cherish most!

Best store in Lexington , always have what my piper puppy needs ! ?
*Update* The service here is amazing! There's always some staff to help out with all our questions and never have any issues getting what we need for our cat ! ?

5 dollars for some night crawlers and they aren’t only dead but rotten and molded into the container. Drove 45 minutes to my fishing spot and opened it up to not a single damn worm. I wait 30 minutes everytime I’m in the store on crickets to the point I gotta just get them myself. Workers standing around on there phone when they could be helping people. Garbage. Won’t have my business again.
