The absolute rudest people work here. The ladies who work the counter and phones act like they're having the most awful, terrible day..EVERY FREAKING DAY!! No way should these people be in customer service. Why would you continue to work at a job that makes you all so miserable? My only answer is that it isn't the business that makes them miserable, it's them that make this business miserable!! I suggest to use Owensboro Family Pharmacy for your medical needs. They are always awesome.

I literally hate going into or calling this pharmacy. I don't get return calls, then when I come in to recieve my respiratory supplies half the time they can't find them or they are not in stock. The store looks like a resale shop. There was a basket of medicine sitting on the floor behind the counter today, not even in a secure location.

If I could give this establishment 0 stars I definitely would. They don't give a crap about their patients or their needs. This place is a joke all the way up to its owner. He probably the most unprofessional "owner" I have ever came in contact with. I started my cpap journey in September. After reaching out to this place more then twice in a 1 week period leaving messages to get a returned call to schedule my appt for a mask fitting. It took over a month to get a returned call from them. I get my appt scheduled and they try 1cpap mask on me. The send me home with the 1 mask they tried on me. The mask caused complications. So I returned to them telling them this didn't work, can they try to fit me with another. The billing specialist gets me 2 masks to try on by just holding them to my face and says those fit they should work. Turns out a therapist is supposed to be fitting the mask in an appt setting not the billing specialist as she is not qualified to make recommendations. She sends me home with 2 masks she assumed would work in her opinion bc apparently they are a qaulifed now to make those decisions. At this point I have asked to go through and appt with a therapist twice and had to deal with mikayla the billing specialist. Those masks she gave me did not work they leak awful so I go in and tell her they don't work I ask for another appt with a therapist and again mikayla the billing specialist gives me a mask that she think fits fine with out ever hooking me to a machine, To see if it leaks or what have you. I continue to call and go in for 2 weeks and she doesn't return my calls or voicemail, when she speaks to me on the phone and in person each encounter is extremely rude. She talks down to me like I'm dumb. So I ask my plum doctor to transfer my care king's can't take me till February due to a compliance issue. So as a last resort I ask for a manager. I go In to speak with Jeff Danhaur whom I presume is the owner of this establishment and he has an attitude like I'm wasting his time from the beginning of the conversation throwing his hands up at me and shrugging he shoulder at me with a smirk on his face. He was extremely arrogant and spoke down to me so I now understand where his employees get it from. I told him I was a patient through the cpap department and he looked at me like I was ignorant. And I was explaining to him what my experience had been like he goes on to tell me they have went above and beyond for me and I asked him what part was above and beyond not returning my calls, them being rude to me, them literally laughing at me while I'm speaking to them? Which part? He said the part where we've given u 4 masks which is 2more then we give people. I guess he was speaking of the 3 that were improperly fit by the billing specialist mikayla. I guess that's what he calls above and beyond. I said I no longer wanted to be patient he said that's fine with me go to somewhere but they'll do the same exact thing. I'd be more then happy to release u. I said theres a compliance agreement with ins that prevents them from taking me till February. He said well idk what to tell u I guess tuff it out till February. I said i just want an appt with the appropriate person to fit me properly he said I'll pay for a therapist to be here but I won't give u another mask you'll be paying out of pocket I said your not going to send it to my ins. He's said u can pay for a mask. So he basically refused to bill my insurance and told me to "tuff out" my issues until February. With improperly fitting masks provided by someone who was not legally able to recommend one to begin with. I'd love to call this man every name in the book but that will get me no where, as this post will get me no where, as did my conversation with the owner. So I'm making this post for other clients awareness. DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. don't waste your time. They don't care about your needs they don't provide good care.

I ordered my medication refill and requested delivery. I waited the first day and they didn't bring it. The next day I waited until 2 pm, they still hadn't come and I left for one hour. That's when they delivered my medication. I called and let them know that I missed delivery. . I let them know that this medication is necessary and I had missed 2 doses. The promised to deliver it that day, for a $1 delivery charge. They didn't deliver it. I called this morning and my medication is sitting in the pharmacy and not even scheduled for delivery. You CAN'T depend on this pharmacy to get your meds to you. You're better just going in and picking it up, even if you have to walk.

My elderly diabetic father has been needing his Ozempic for days now. There is a shortage but Danhauer Drugs has it in stock. They are refusing to sell it to him because it is "for their current customers only". How can a pharmacy legally deny medication to a.person in need? They need their license revoked. Avoid this place at all costs.UPDATE: I just filed a grievance with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy about this.

Vague in explaining their “cash only” medical device policy and shrouding it in a “insurance won’t pay” policy. It confuses older people who are told by medical staff and insurance companies that it should be approved. Then when asked why they didn’t just explain that THEY choose to not bill insurance and only sell direct, they lie. They never told me that in person on Saturday. Then she lied about speaking directly with my father upon their surprise delivery. Collen had spoken to her delivery guy, not my father. Don’t mislead people on Medicare! It’s ugly. Will never use or recommend this business. I don’t blame you for the policy, but I cannot stand lying.

The older lady has been rude several times lately and it was uncalled for. I am definitely surprised that this is allowed. You all aren’t the only pharmacy in the area so you may want to control yourselves and be more professional. I’m not surprised your review score is low.

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star but I wanted to leave a review if your needing anything to do with cpap or bi pap do t go through this place kim the respitory person is very rude and inconsiderate she is the upmost disrespectful person they have she definitely does NOT NEED TO BE WORKING IN THE HEALTHCARE FIELD she has no manners and her customer service is co.plete trash I would never refer this place if it was the last place to go to she does not need her job! Sadly when I called back when I got hung up on for asking her name the next lady I spoke with was very nice and apologized for her actions and also mentioned that Kim gets complaints all the time and she knew exactly who I was talking about

I have a client who was hospitalized and the hospital sent Danhauer's the script to be filled. Family picked up the medicine and the male employee told them that they are NOT a backup pharmacy and they would never fill medicine for this person ever again. Nobody intended for this pharmacy to be a "backup pharmacy" but this guy apparently thought otherwise. I know of 3 people including another pharmacy who called them, and all 3 people said the same thing about this guy...he was very rude and refused to help them get what they needed, and he behaved like a child throwing a tantrum. Just for kicks, I read their welcome statement from their website: "committed to providing the highest quality health care services to its customers in a friendly, knowledgeable, and cost effective manner" and "Service is the cornerstone that Grandad laid in 1904 and the entire staff tries daily to live up to the standards he initiated at that time." This guy definitely DID NOT live up to these standards and shouldn't even be a customer-facing employee. If there was a negative star option, I would give it.

Very rude. I could not believe it Wasn’t greeted the first several minutes even though they looked from behind the counter at me a few time a few times and went back to what they were doing. . Asked the cashier a question about how often I could get replacement s on the items I picked up said something like cushions every two months. I asked if it was the same time period for the mask. She said no just the cushions and didn’t say anything about how often mask could be replaced. She walked off while saying, no just the cushions. Very rude and not friendly. Will not go back. ??

HORRIBLE! My doctor prescribed me a BiPap machine for my sleep apnea and told me it would only take a week for it to come in. A week later I called and asked for an update on my prescription and they said they were waiting to hear back from my insurance and told me not to call because the insurance company might slow down just out of spite. 2 months go by with me calling every week for an update, I finally decided to call my insurance and they said it had already been approved, so I told the pharmacy and gave them the approval number for my bipap and they set an appointment for me to pick it up. The day comes for me to pick it up and I get a call from them saying the pharmacist called in sick that day and that it would probably be another few weeks to reschedule. After that I had it sent to a different pharmacy.

They never get anything right always missing something I have even had the to leave medicine at a different address and win I asked about it know one there had a answer I am a type 1 diabetes the got the call in medicine today at 2 pm from doctor and hear it's 10pm and it's still not hear I had to call about it they told me it would be here today this drug store is never friendly to me I work 6am to 4pm 6 days a week never good experience with them they don't even say I sorry I would never let any of my family go there or anyone else 4 times now this has happened

I walked in and employees seen me but never said anything like we will be with you shortly. After a couple minutes someone asked if she could help me. I told her I was there to pick up something for someone. I had a question about the items I picked up and she gave me a vague answer which didn't answer my question fully so I asked about one of the items she gave me a nice voice and walked off. very unfriendly.

Nurse Practitioner, Sarah Osborn referred us to this pharmacy after writing my daughter a prescription for amoxicillin. I could see the pride in Sarah’s eyes and hear it in her words as she referred us here and spoke very highly about the pharmacy and especially the pharmacist. Much to my surprise, I was treated horribly by the ladies behind the register. I asked if while ringing up my items if the lady could charge a quarter to my debit card so my sick child could get a gumball from the machine. The younger lady said she didn’t know and asked for the assistance of an older lady. This lady huffed and puffed and rolled her eyes and just walked off waving her hand like she couldn’t be bothered with my request. This person seriously needs to work on her coping skills. The younger lady continued ringing me ignoring my request all together. How completely rude. A simple no, ma’am we can’t do that would have been suffice. How embarrassing it would be for Nurse Sarah to know that her patient was treated like they were a bother to these two ladies. This happened today Feb. 7th, 2023. Around 2pm. Just so the owner knows which lady he might need to send to his daughter for a referral to someone who can help with those coping skills.
