The Worst! Standing at the checkout for literally five minutes tonight being ignored while the cashier checked out 4 people at self check out... who were in line behind me. I was never acknowledged and will never go back! I will drive to any other dollar general in town but not the one closestl to my house.

Absolutely love this Dollar General. Not is it close to my house the workers are great. Very polite and helpful. And they make you feel welcomed. It's a very nice clean well organized store. Keep up the good work ladies!I will definitely see you all again.

I just want to recognize one employee for always being so happy to help and really knows her stuff when it comes to finding items. Her name is Jessica but I'm not sure of her last name. She is what makes my shopping at Dollar General enjoyable. She can always tell me exactly where to find what it is I'm looking for. She has even helped me load items into my car. One night I witnessed her bring over a chair for an elderly lady to set down in while waiting for her daughter to finish shopping. I thought that was so kind of her. You can tell she loves what she does and thats what every employee should be like. I've been to almost all the dollar stores in Owensboro and have yet to see an employee as friendly and happy as Mrs. Jessica. I don't know if she will ever see this review but I just wanted to say thank you sweetie!

One of the best Dollar Generals I have shopped at. I am always greeted with a smile and made to feel appreciated for spending my money at their store. One cashier/manager I'd like to mention is Jessica, she is always so nice and helpful. Professionalism and great customer service. I have witnessed her go above and beyond for her customers. Never have I seen her have a poor attitude. Never. She is always happy to see everyone! Great work Dollar General#18829! Keep up the hard work and thank you for making my neighborhood dollar store experience enjoyable! Only complaint I would have is that they are always sold out of sugar ?

Not open half the time they are supposed to be. This makes 3 times I've been there around 9 am & the door is closed & locked. You're supposed to open at 8! Get some workers that are on time for crying out loud.
