⛽️Standard of Gas Stations! I rarely take the time to write reviews for a gas station, but the FiveStar location (specifically the one on Highway 101) deserves every bit of praise. This isn't just a place to fill up your tank; it’s a genuinely pleasant pit stop that resets your travel mood.
⭐️First, the cleanliness is always good. From the moment you pull up, the pump area is spotless—no overflowing bins or sticky residue, which is shockingly common elsewhere. More importantly, the restrooms are always clean. They clearly take hygiene seriously, which, for a traveler, or someone often taking road trips like myself, this is a huge sign of respect for their customers.
⭐️The staff is for the most part has always been exceptional. Every employee I've encountered has been friendly, quick, and genuinely helpful. They engage with customers and seem to enjoy their jobs considering their friendliness. This makes my transactions fast and pleasant.
⭐️Beyond the fuel (which is always priced competitively for the area), the amenities are top-notch. Their coffee bar is fantastic—freshly brewed, with a variety of syrups and creamers that rival a dedicated coffee shop. The selection of road trip snacks is vast, and they even carry a small selection of fresh, refrigerated sandwiches and fruit cups that are perfect for a quick, healthy lunch on the go.
⭐️FiveStar is my default choice now as often as possible. It’s consistent, clean, friendly, and efficient. It sets a standard for what a convenience store and fueling station should be. Highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area!

Quick shop stop. Nice array of prepared cold foods like sandwiches and some salads. Love Love Love the free tire air machine at the locations here in Owensboro. Nice for a gas station/quick stop. Good customer service team, also.
