“Great location for work travel. Very friendly service from everyone I encountered. A couple of young ladies at the front desk, and the breakfast service young lady stood out. I've always stayed at TownePlace in Owensboro until this trip, but either location is great, I'll definitely be back.”

“Hampton Inn was simple wonderful!
Precious and Alaura at the front desk super friendly, sweet and quick easy check in. Early check in was a pure blessing.
Hotel room was super clean. Loved the view of the river. Pretty faucet in bathroom. Shower was clean. Water pressure was low, but at least we could shower. That was the only down side.
Chelsea and her girls at breakfast are rock stars!!! They kept it all clean, well stocked, and breakfast was very good. They were so friendly and worked their tails off. They will go out of their way to help with whatever they could.
Pool was refreshing.
Major downside was cardio equipmt was down. That was a little depressing but oh well.
I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Beautiful. Great river walk. Quiet inside. With so many people over the wkend, it was quiet inside which is rare.
I don't remember the young man who was cleaning the lobby Sunday am, but he was nice too.
This was one of the best Hampton Inn's I stayed at. Employees were great with everyone that I seen, especially with the convention center next door. It's close walk to restaurants. 10 minute drive to stores.

“Great hotel in new, growing area with lots of shops and restaurants. Hotel is 5 yrs old and clean with comfortable rooms. Kitchenette has full size fridge which is appreciated for long stays! Outdoor seating and grills is nice. Nice gym. Only downside was VERY expensive laundry ($4 wash/$3dry) and they were just the standard size we usually find for $1-2. Great staff and breakfast!
Update 3/10/26: laundry prices have improved to $3wash/$2dry. Thanks!”

“Ok. For a budget motel its good.
The air-conditioning unit is very very loud. The room was clean. The bed is hard. Im used to soft.
The pillows are great. You need more than one chair. The staff have all been very helpful and friendly. The endless doughnut holes are a big bonus. The coffee is decent.
The outside of the building is under construction. And the hallways are perfectly dirty. Im assuming from all the construction workers that stay here. Very quiet for people noises. Air-conditioning not so much.”

“I stayed a night on Saturday for my tennis tournament. It’s very convenient & the room was so clean. The breakfast area was clean & the reception desk was very nice. I would stay again for sure.”

“The outside of this place isn't clean at all, and first impressions when you walk in are not much better. \n\nBUT the food is very good and service is usually friendly and prompt. You get a lot of food for your money here, and their breakfast is excellent.”

“We stayed at Comfort Suites in Owensboro, Kentucky for a football tournament, traveling all the way from Ohio with a whole team of energetic 11-year-old boys. To say they were rambunctious would be an understatement they were doing exactly what 11-year-old boys do, and I know we weren’t the easiest group to manage!

Despite that, the staff was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding the entire weekend. What really stood out was Sunday morning: we learned our first game wouldn’t start until 2:45 PM, but check-out was at 11. Without hesitation, they allowed us to stay until 1:00 PM with no extra charge. That small act of kindness made a huge difference for our boys and our families.

There were multiple football teams staying there, but the staff still treated us with care and respect. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and more than accommodating.

“It’s a cheap, conveniently located, not as shitty as you would expect Motel 6. Lady at the front desk was kinda rude, but also I got my room for like $55 dollars. I think everyone complaining either had outlier bad experiences, or just had super high expectations. It’s a Motel 6, you’re not getting some amazing room here, but they did enough work on the rooms themselves to make it feel like a room at a nicer hotel. TBH if I’m ever broke down needing a place to stay in Owensboro again, this is probably where I’ll go. If you’re looking for a super nice motel, this ain’t it. If you’re looking for a cheap place to stay that doesn’t have rats, roachs, bed bugs, or blood stains, this IS the place.”
