Bought ribeye roast yesterday for Christmas. Started to prep it for cooking in the morning and meat was green and smelled awful. Called store and guy told me manger said they could not do anything about it without receipt. It has their label on it with sell by 25th. I am just really disappointed in the customer service. I shop at this Kroger on hwy 144 in Owensboro ky all the time. Usually a great store but this is unacceptable.

So they suck.....and I waited for 20 minutes contemplating about stealing shit. Luckily I prayed to the Kroger God's and someone eventually materialized to the customer service and I was born again. The end.

This location is very small (and probably older) and does not have a very good selection. But it will do in a pinch. The employees are very kind, however. I left the store without grabbing one of my bags, and the cashier, Corbyn, met me in the parking lot and brought it to me. Thank you!

I don’t recommend this location. I have only been one time and walked out without buying anything. It is a small store and does not offer a large selection. I wanted to get flowers, but their selection is really small compared to other locations. Prices in general seemed too high. Also, there was a long line of people waiting to checkout. You could not even get through the front of the store, but had to go all the way back and around. I’ll stick with the Kroger on Frederic’s Street from now on.

Went to get a money order,had me go get in line at the check out,I knew that I needed to be at service desk,but waited in line finally got my turn just to be told to go to service desk.Waited for 25 months girl at the check out just stood at her station doing nothing,Big ol run around because people don't want to do their job.Would not recommend this store.

I am appalled at what goes on. Have never complained before in a review. I bought groceries, got home and realized 2 items I purchased weren't in my bags. The girl bagging was busy talking to another employee(I think it was the person from customer service desk who was standing there listening while phone was ringing off the hook). The conversation was obviously of personal nature and the checkout lady was waiting for her to continue to bag so she could check out others in line. When I got home I called the store...the young lady answering the phone told me there was obviously nothing to be done on the phone, but come on in and get what I LEFT there! I live 30 minutes away, so that makes no sense..not an apology or anything. I won't be going back in there in the future except to get my money returned.
