In trying to get my RX filled using my Goodrx card I told Walgreens I was on Medicare and was told by the pharmacy they would accept the Goodrx price but they were out of stock. Had Rx transferred to Walgreens. When I received notice of Rx in I went to pickup. Pharmacy then said they would not accept Goodrx price, price through insurance was more than double. They are either liars or incompetent about their policies. Never again.
This was the Walgreens on Hwy 54 east.
Today I dealt with the Walgreens at 2318 Frederica and everything went well. I give this later experience a 5 star.

This place is the absolute worst they don’t know what they are doing with their pharmacy or how to problem solve. They also messed up my return and caused my exchange to come in late.

Had a prescription filled and the employee couldn't find it on the computer, looked I'm the wrong place. I asked her to look in the bin is supposed to be in and she found it. Then took forever in back only to finally ring it up.
Before this she was assisting a customer who didn't have the insurance or birthday or anything to get his family member a prescription. I asked if she could call for help and she said there was no one to help. I worked at Walgreens and there is always someone, a manager at least. 30 minutes of wasted time I really don't have, plus the time to rate this!
Find another pharmacy!

Worst pharmacy in Owensboro. They do not communicate. Lie about waiting on drs to ok a prescription Have to wait over an hour to talk to the pharmacy. Very dishonest management.

Very slow service. Right before I went up to the register at the pharmacy the employee had his finger in his mouth.

Hopefully this one gets shutdown soon. Worst service in owensboro with hour long waits. Pharmacist wasn't even there today couldn't pick up needed prescription!

Took three days and four visits to get my prescriptions. First three visits I waited in line over 45 mins visit and was never seen. The fourth visit, 3 days after my surgery, I was finally able to make it through the pharmacy line to get pain medication. Will be looking for another pharmacy. They can't handle their customers. They don't have the staff.

Good luck even trying to speak to a physical person, automated bs everytime and when you do get someone, you’re put on hold till the phone hangs up.

Do not go here. Been on hold for 40 minutes waiting to speak about them filling the wrong prescriptions. Then when I get through she rushes me and puts me back on hold. Shut this place down. Will never return here, unless it's to see if my new brakes need testing.

Extremely slow. Employees are rude and short. Pharmacy is the worst I've ever experienced with any Pharmacy and I don't even live here. But as for variety of things to buy it usually have what you need.

The absolute worst parmacy experience I've ever had no one ever answers the phones and prescriptions are never prepared, even when they say they're ready. There's always a line of aggravated people. 1 star is being gracious for this place.

I went in the drive thru and was told to wait for a text message, two HOURS go by and my prescription still isn't even in progess, and I go inside. She tells me they're closing early and they won't be able to fill my prescription. Now, I get it if this is a bad day for them, but they have never had a good day. Not once for me, and clearly not for anyone else judging by other reviews. Just shut it down or get a staff that takes people's health more seriously, because getting the medication you need is so important and the lady had the nerve to tell me "it will be the same prescription tomorrow" as if going another day feeling unwell is no big deal. Yikes.

This is who you have representing Walgreens?! A women who harasses another women in a completely different state. I’m the victim of domestic violents but yet I’m being attacked. walgreens you need to speak with your staff, they represent you.
