Walmart on Leitchfield Rd in Owensboro, KY is my go to store because it is newer than the one on Frederica and it just seems cleaner. That being said, I went with my daughter for her to get tires put on she bought. She bought 4 tires through Walmart.com and had them delivered to the store so she could just go and have them put on. She made an appointment and waited. The day of the of she got a phone call 3 hours before the appointment telling her their tire changing machine had broken the day before and they needed to reschedule. No problem. It would have been nice if they had called the day before when it broke down but hey it happens. She called for 6 days before anyone would make a new appointment. We went on May 22nd at 10am for the tires to be put on. Upon arrival we encountered 5 or 6 people milling around the counter in tire, lube express. NO EMPLOYEES. Ten minutes later 2 employess walk in from outside saying they were on a break and the only 2 there. Whatever, we left the car and proceeded to shop with my daughters 1 year old twins. The job was guaranteed to be done within the hour. After spending over $200 shopping we went back to automotive. It had been 2 hours by this time and we had to stand around for another 30 minutes just waiting on someone to speak to us. We could see her van and they were just taking the tires off. Finally, a woman, that I assume works there, without a name tag approached us explaining that there were only 2 workers back there (I could see 4) and proceeded to explain to me, according to KY law, why they both were on breaks earlier while customers waited. This tire, lube and express opened at 8am and the only 2 workers were on break before 10am. She had an attitude that I matched. She actually stood in front of me, clapping her hands telling me the legal jargon. She pissed me off! I told her I'm not stupid I run a business too and know the laws. I told her the point is we spent alot of $$$ between shopping, tires and installation for us to stand around waiting when we had an appointment. Get your shit together walmart. I'm sick of hearing we ate short staffed. Not my problem...that's yours. Common sense is you take those cashiers not working because of self checkouts should be trained to work the desk in automotive. Someone should always be there during business hours to answer questions, phone calls and work the register. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this shit out. And...if I have to have another encounter with said blonde woman and she claps her hands at me I'll clap back. So disrespectful. Especially since she was acting like a manager.

Wal-Mart is Wal-Mart. They have what you need. The thing I don't like are so many products in Grocery area have no prices. Since I'm on a budget. I would like to know how much I'm spending. Also the employees that get groceries for delivery are rude. It's like get out of my way. Rude.

Was unable to get 5 items out of the 10 that I had on my lust due to not in stock. Also the person ( Bre ) working in the self checkout area was just standing about 10 feet away while our red light was on at our checkout. We stood there for over 5 min , when she did come she said nothing just entered a code and left. The guy at the entrance that looked to be a greeter didn't say hi or bye . Customer service is important and could use some work at this store. Other wise store was clean.

Walmart really has a problem with not having employees around that can help you. Either they dont have enough employees or they are just not interested in helping customers.

The vision center here is the best place to buy glasses locally. Have tried several other options over the past five years, uop to and including L@nscr@fters in Evansville.Accurate eye exam, excellent customer service, prompt shipping on new glasses.
