I’m sorry you had a bad experience. It was me who asked the father to move, but he was sitting in the ministers seats and there were 3 of them and 2 singers in a packed chapel. I don’t know where else you expected me to put them. They have reserved seating and family has reserved seating. I originally tried to move him over into the front row of chairs, but when he wasn’t satisfied with that I offered the family room with a great big comfy couch that would have been much more comfortable than the hard backed chair he chose when he got mad and left the chapel to sit in the hallway, but he WAS NOT asked to leave the chapel. He did that on his own. And I know another member of the staff tried to get him to return to the chapel and he refused.
As far as the obituary goes…only one side of the family participated in the arrangements. It’s hard to get the correct information on the obituary when you don’t have it. And while I didn’t personally handle the obituary…I know any corrections that needed to be made were made if we were aware of them.”
