This place is so unfriendly. I had an item damaged from shipping. The manager at this location could not care less, very curt, just plain rude. I called corporate office they were SO nice & so helpful. They returned it at full price with which I gladly purchased other items. Cato is a good company who intends to make customer service a priority. There were a thousand things that the Southside store could have said to make nice my experience, rather than getting her dander up and barking at me. I won't go back to this store!!

My daughter and I went in shopping for a dress for my daughter's dance. Anna helped us and when I say she help she went above and beyond to help us find her the entire outfit. Thank you for the amazing service!!

Good prices. Glad they are going back true to size.However, it's not just Cato but Most retailers bother me that they consider plus size one shape (flat tummy and thick thighs/hips). I'm neither. I need clothes that hide my stomach because of recent hysterectomy. Most employees are nice. Just wish retailers would have more variety shapes in plus size clothing. I also cannot wear a numbered jean. I don't have a numbered jean size because of my stomach. The elastic in the waist is not always helpful because they are still made for a person with a flat stomach. Cato jeans have a severe issue with this.

I have been at this location with a cart /or strollers multiple times. I walked in this afternoon looking for clothes with three kids for a funeral tomorrow. The women working comes to inform I cannot be in the store with a cart very rudely. I walk outside and come back in without the cart and she lousy talks to other customers about my kids misbehaving and continues to have completely unprofessional conversations about my children at the register. I am extremely disappointed. I will also be contacting cooperate tomorrow morning.

Great store my daughter and I can both shop . Great selection of clothing to choose from. Love that they have plus size and standard sizes available. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I have been shopping at Cato's for many years.
