What a strange place! I've spent my share of time in Kroger locations but this one felt like taking a spin in the Twilight Zone. I'm not familiar with Paducah, KY but the average age of shopper appeared to be 114 years old. Living in FL, I know what a retirement community looks like and NEVER did I expect to see an older population. I reckon my opinion really doesn't matter because I'm just passing through but I would have assumed this place was in or adjacent to a retirement community.

I find the staff at all of the Kroger locations in Paducah to be poorly trained, disrespectful and rude. I do not understand why the management does not train their employees to be courteous and competent. It is appalling! When I spend hundreds of dollars on groceries, I expect a simple thank you and please come again at the very least. I expect all the items I purchase to be put in bags and not left on the counter. I expect to be charged the correct price for my items. I expect my items not to be damaged by poor bagging skills. I do not expect to have to tell a grocery cashier what celery is. I do not expect to have to bag my own groceries because there is no staff. I have an unpleasant experience every time I shop at these stores. I feel this is an egregious lack of competency on the part of the store management. And given the current price of groceries, this is not acceptable.

Needed to be restocked because out of a lot of things I came for and could have used more than one checker open. Self checkout doesn’t help with bigger orders

I love this Kroger. However, what happened to JO ANN???? She was by far the friendliest and most knowledgeable cashier there!!!

once again Kroger management at its finest. 7:00pm on Sunday. only registers open are self checkout. zero buggies in the building. no baggers to get them out of parking lot. lines stretching into the candy aisle. 1 person handling everyone. several people with full buggies having to self checkout. this Kroger has got the worst management team in Paducah. terrible the way they treat the employees and leave them severely short handed everyday. only thing they care about is online orders and their new precious gas station. they paved the gas station parking lot but the rest of the parking lot is the worst in the city. pathetic.

The customers where lined up into the isles to use the self checkout, and where 6 deep to get to the only 2 cashiers. When I asked why they didn't call any cashiers to the register I was told there weren't any. They have at least 6 employees picking orders for online purchases. Is this the best kroger can do? One would think a couple of the rude (they will run into you because they are nearly running) employees picking orders would take a register at times . Im done with park Ave kroger.

I placed an order for my groceries to be picked up at a certain time, a time that their store offered. Then I get a call the day of pick up saying my order can’t be completed. Upon calling I’m told there are staffing issues. I asked to speak to a manager when I get to talk to someone he told me if he could have help there every day he would be a genius. William let me tell you I worked for a major chain for 13 years. They took care of their customers. In the first place you hire good employs, secondly you call in people to cover what you promise. Or you make the management staff fill in. Basically you do what it takes! I didn’t call asking for your attitude and smart mouth. I called asking for you to take care of what your company promises.

I would just like to say how grateful I am for not only Park Avenue Kroger but all the Paducah Kroger's. I highly recommend the Kroger pick up especially in times like this. PLUS not to mention these people are real life hero's and ROCK for their simple sacrifice to get up and show up to their jobs everyday. If they didn't who would baggy your groceries, stock the shelves, clean the store, etc.

they have employees who are positive for Covid 19 but won't do anything about it to ensure the safety of others!

Where I come from, we call this a Krappy Kroger. They are remodeling the outside but should have started with the inside instead of putting lipstick on a pig. Poor & disorganized layout, very few prepared food options and the most pitiful beer selection I have ever seen in a grocery store anywhere and I travel all over the US. I have seen better selections in convenience stores. If there is a beer wasteland, this may be it.

The past three times I've shopped at this store, each time has been a nightmare to get through check out. They do not hire enough help towards the end of the night and the people that they do hire are incompetent fools. Thanks a lot Kroger! Thanks for the quality that you can't provide like any other city or state could!
