I will never be coming back to this store!!!! The staff was horrible. We were bringing bags of clothes to sell. All name brand and washed prior to bringing. As soon as we walked through the door the 2 young girls behind the counter judged us from the second we walked in and she told us it would be 30-45 minutes for her to go through everything. As soon as we get back to our car, we get a message saying our stuff was done, not even 5 minutes later. They didn’t touch anything or go through anything. The note they gave us as to why they didn’t buy anything was because our stuff needed to be washed and cleaned and that we weren’t sanitary. I was dressed in comfortable clothes because we had drove 2 hours there and had to drive back 2 hours with no extra money in hand. Brand new Vera Bradley purses, brand new square steel toe Justin’s, all kinds of top name brand jeans and shirts. They never even gave a look into anything.

I went in there this morning and the moment I they look at me I already what was coming . I ask they are still buys things she said yes so I go it and they said they will will five minutes later I get a text telling me that there was a bad smell when I put those things in a bag I take care of my things. I come dump everything out and smelled every thing in the and I don’t smell anything. Well I guess I was a color they will service. I am very disappointed. Wow thank you for the worse discriminating service

I came for information about how the process works about brings clothes in and the girls at the counter did not greet me or ask how they could help me, very unprofessional ‼️I asked one of the girls how the process works and as far as bringing my personal clothes in and if I would make a profit because. I dress in office attire .she is explaining that the clothes can’t come in boxes, totes ,or sacks telling me as she is unpacking clothes the whole time. Saying they will be rating and looking for particular items and that she was three hours behind for unpacking. She said they’d be rated the condition they come in. Understandably. She gave the flyer I have posted and walked off. I looked at what they had in the store and clothes are priced at new clothes prices. They are mainly looking for name brand stuff from what I could see. I will definitely not be back.

Asked for help finding a certain size no one help and was told to go to the store next to them for my daughter clothing she is a teen not a baby. The lady sent us to a child clothing store instead of helping.

Second time going to Plato’s closet to sell items. Went today to sell two pair of brand new boots that I’ve never worn before and two dresses that I’ve never worn with the tag still on it came back and they told me that couldn’t buy it because of wear and tear which couldn’t be because these items have never been worn and still was in boxes. Second time they’ve shut me down but In reality I know the real reason.

I have visited Plato’s closet in a quite a few different states & in general it’s usually a great experience. But this store is my absolute favorite. They are so nice & friendly, never rude. They make it seem like they’re excited to go through your clothes, which is an awesome feeling in this type of setting. There are always great deals to be found with a fantastic selection. I follow their FB & IG & their videos are actually entertaining, cute & funny which is rare for a business. Whatever you all are doing, keep it up!
