In stark contrast to big box hardware stores, and even most Ace Franchises, this locally-owned store's layout and inventory just makes sense. Hardware, small parts and materials are easy to find, and easier to find a suitable replacement item if what you thought you needed doesn't quite work. There's always at least one employee in the store that can give you advice or point you in the right direction.

Ordered a piece for my weedeater. Was told it would be in within 3 days. 2 weeks later, after calling 2x, I stopped in. It had been delivered 4 days prior, but the man in charge was on vacation, and no one else could call to tell me.

They take advantage of being the only hardware store in town and overprice things to a VULGAR LEVEL!!!!!!Very judgmental peopleIf you walk in not looking a certain way they will mistake you for a shoplifter then follow you around then you get to the register and spend 300 dollars then they are nice.

Just wanted to share a review from a small business owner to another small business. Customer service is what this business is all about. They know how to make it work. They are very knowledgeable about everything they have in stock and they will take the time to help you find the right items you are looking for. AND, if they don’t have it in stock, they will special order it for you if they can. They literally have everything you can imagine! I go 20 miles out of my way when I have a lowes 7 miles away to do business with this hardware store. This type of business is a dying trend due to the big box stores. But the big box has nothing on the mom and pop stores!! Also, their small engine repair service is the best I’ve ever seen!!

Eads Hardware has never let me down. They always have what I need for whatever project in working on. Store is well stocked and they are always helpful and friendly. Not worth the drive to Lowe's while Eads Hardware is right here in Paris!#shoplocal

The man with the glasses at the counter is very very rude. He kept making the wrong key for me after I told him repeatedly the key I wanted made. I kept handing him the right key to cut and he kept cutting other ones on my keychain. If there were any other hardware store in Paris, Kentucky I would avoid this one.

Came here for a carpet cleaner/upholstery cleaner & they were very nice. Decent prices & got me in and out fairly quickly. Return was super easy. Just dropped off at the front counter and left.
