What a wonderful place to go back in time and get away. Nostalgia was everywhere. If you love the Victorian Era, go. The home was packed full of history. Gary and Karin were perfect hosts. Gary cooked a great breakfast to start our day and Karin shared many interesting facts of history with us. The beds slept well and we got a great night of sleep. The railroad tracks and train runs right in front of the property. It was fun to watch it wize by. We thought it might keep us up at night, not sure we ever even heard it at night. We met up with family there and was able to visit and play games into the night on their couches located in the hallway and the dining area.I would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast. We will be going back!Noteworthy details: Hospitality was amazing!

Me and my wife stayed here for our one year anniversary the owners of the inn are very nice and their breakfast was very delicious the only complaint was we had a train coming through since there's a train tracks right in front of the place come through at 1:00 a.m. but literally as I woke up I went right back to sleep cuz the beds were so comfy you pretty much sink into it. If we ever plan a trip back up to that area we will definitely be staying againFood & drinks: They cook breakfast every morning bacon, eggs and waffles with orange juice as well with fruit bowl and it was very good.

Karin and her husband are wonderful, welcoming, and hospitable hosts who run a very nice, quaint, and peaceful bed and breakfast. At the right times they are present yet non-intrusive. Park City is fortunate to have this historic inn, and it’s a wonderful place to stay if visiting the nearby Mammoth Cave National Park (approx about 12 minutes away).Their Inn is a refurbished rebuilt hotel from another yesteryear era and the rooms are quaint yet comfortable. We recommend adding breakfast to your stay.Breakfast was amazing and delicious eggs, pancakes, bacon, fruit, orange juice, and coffee were served. The quaint, eclectic fruit offering with what appeared to be served with fruit infused crème fraîche was delicious, refreshing, and simply gourmet. On the first floor, there is a larger “mini fridge” that patrons get to use if anything needs refrigeration during their stay.

This bed & Breakfast is worth it for the quality of the stay, the friendly service, and the convenient location near Mammoth Cave National Park. Karin and Gary were wonderful hosts, and they made the place feel as cozy as a home. The town itself wasn't much to look at, but the inn was within walking distance of a great diner. The building was gorgeous, and the aesthetic was intricate and well maintained. It really had the atmosphere of an inn from that time period. The room was spacious, the water pressure was fantastic, and the room temperature was alright. There was a fan you could use if you were feeling a little stuffy. There was a TV with a cable box loaded with all the channels you could want. There was a library on the main floor that I didn't get a chance to check out, but I did include pictures of. Breakfast was served starting at 8am, and Gary served us pancakes, bacon, and eggs. We had several drinks to choose from - coffee, juice, soda. All in all, this was a very pleasant experience! If I've got friends and family looking to visit Mammoth Cave, I'm definitely sending them this way!

We stayed in the Joy Suite for a one night get away. The house is absolutely beautiful inside and out! Every detail is perfect. Checking in and out was easy. Breakfast was amazing! The entire area is beautiful. The train runs right in front of the inn but the last train ran around 10:00pm and we didn’t hear it until almost 6:00am. We are usually early risers so it wasn’t a bother to us. It actually added to the experience and the atmosphere takes you back to the early 1900s! We loved every moment of this trip and cannot wait to book another night! Next time we plan to stay more than just one night! We recommend the Joy Suite since it is beautiful, very spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was nice. I am sure the other rooms are just as nice! It was definitely a home away from home feel. If you need a get away definitely check out the Grand Victorian Inn!

Such a lovely bed and breakfast! The room we stayed in (Suite Mentz) was spacious and clean. The location is close enough to big attractions, but not loud. Breakfast was delicious and the customer service was perfect. Thank you Karin and Gary! We’ll be back for sure.

Quaint historic home in a sleepy town very close to Mammoth Cave NP. Hosts were fantastic, knowledgeable and super helpful with the local attractions, food and activities. The home itself was very authentic yet completely modernized for comfort. Highly recommend this little gem.

A mansion like grand villa - will remind you classic Hollywood murder mystery films. We reached in the evening, and the owners told me before from where to pick the keys. There was nobody in the front desk/ office when we reached. It was 7:00 ish in the evening ( summer time - sunlight was there) and we picked our keys from the watering pot which was placed in front of the building. We went inside and there was nobody. The building was more like a set from old Hollywood classic. We looked for our room ( she said that it’s on the first floor). We found ours and went inside. We never saw any person in the night. To be honest we were a bit scared too, lol! There were train lines right in front of the building. We heard a couple of trains passing by in the night. It only enhanced the charm. The room was neat and clean. The ac was on, although I never see the controller. It was a bit hot for me. I found a small fan in the room, and it made me feel comfortable. The bed was great - soft yet firm, with loads of pillows. However, I must say it was little small in size for two adults! The bathroom was clean too. It was spacious. They provided enough clean towels and other basic toiletries. We slept well. Next day morning I knew we had breakfast included as complementary with the night reservation. The owner texted me the time. I thought it should be there for a while- so I reached in the dining hall for breakfast at 9:30ish, and learnt that we were late by an hour!! However, the lady was very sweet to keep it for us. She fried fresh pancakes and served us with eggs and bacons. The dining room was huge with all old furniture and antiques. The breakfast was great. Overall, our experience was pretty good. One thing- the wifi was bad.

We booked this as a couples get away it was perfect. They had campfires at night and breakfast in the mornings. The hosts were super friendly. Our room was down a hall with only one other room on it. Bed was very comfortable. The shower was so nice, plenty of hot water. Woul definitely recomend.
