👍Some nice employees that work really hard.
Nice clean building with nice clean bathrooms.
Very organized.
Love that the clothes are arranged according to size and not color
👎All the time I see stains, spots, and worn out issues with the clothes.
Old trashy household items that just need thrown away are a frequent at this Goodwill.
If any items are worth buying, it is usually overpriced and alot of times locked up behind glass.
Not many nice things on the shelves.
As a whole, I've never seen a Goodwill like this one.
I've even told them about things and nothing has changed. It's like the ones over it don't care.
I hung two shirts that I found stained (but there are always more) up at the end of the aisle where a woman I assumed was the manager was standing. She was instructing employees about something and I told her the shirts were stained and she said ok and I thought she'd pull them off the rack. She just left them there!
Bought a pair of sleepwear bottoms that are supposed to be $2.99 but were priced as a pair of pants for $6.59. I didn't catch it because I assumed they were the same price as all the other sleepwear. I had to return them and they agreed the price needed changed and then set them aside. I went back the other day and found that same item put back in the sleepwear section with the exact same pants price on them. I was just trying to help the next customer not get overcharged like I did. It's like they don't care or something.
I was told they won't pull the old, stained, spotted worn out clothes off the racks bc they aren't getting enough clothes so they have to put them out. What is that, like they're not meeting their quota or something? I dont know. I'm not the only one that doesn't like this Goodwill in Pikeville. Everyone is talking about it, even from other towns. We need a nice Thrift Store or Consignment Shop in Pike, not this overpriced Goodwill with gross stuff priced and hung on the racks and placed on the shelves. They have to pay employees to sort through, price and stock these items. Why would Goodwill pay employees to do this useless work with items that need burned or thrown away? The employees just work for them and have to do whatever they're told, I guess.
Take more pride in in your store here in Pike, Goodwill. If you do, we'll tell more and they will come.

I am not from neither do I live in Kentucky. We were visiting the area and decided to stop at the Goodwill. We have discovered that Goodwill not only helps the community, but it’s also a great value for lightly worn clothing. This store was clean and very well organized. It had a great selection in big men’s attire. It was very busy and they had only 2 registers open (one being for cash only). But well worth the wait to get the fantastic deals. Out of all the Goodwills I’ve been to this one was slightly more expensive than the others. But still deserving of 5 ⭐️’s

Never have I seen such a clean well organized store, even the clothing hangers where in a perfect uniform line. Robert was the best, smiling and extremely friendly. He is what I would want at my business

Its a nice store but the Clothes are overpriced.I donated some things myself and went in to see what it was like just browsing the illes.7.00 for a pair pants and 7.00 for a shirt.Dresses are more almost 20.00 or above. This is ridiculous especially when people are cleaning out their closets and GIVING IT TO THEM FOR FREE.I was kinda upset I gave away my things lolI should have sold my own things .Goodwill is not paying anything for the donations. The prices could be less to accommodate those who can't afford clothes, after all isn't that the whole idea of a goodwill...Over 4 dollars is a big price for a pair used pants that are we don't know how old????Be real!!!You can go to Walmart and buy a new pair pants for 8.00 to 10.00 dollars for heaven sakes.Sometimes a new dress for 10 bucks. This is supposed to be yard sale prices not get rich prices. But ive not seen it ever fail where money is to be made. One used to could go to Goodwill and buy a shirt and pants for 5.00.It is awful to me, for a Goodwill to be able to do poor folk this way...It's a nice store it is organized. It is clean smells good inside. But they need to be realistic and move the products they have.Torn clothes holes in the shirts, buttons missing, zippers don't work!!!The price of coats they get for free is ridiculous. The variety of home goods is low not much to offer.. but what they had was high prices for used stuff old stuff.I was surprised that they had no Christmas decor out to buy.I'm not against anyone making money but I am against ripping people off when Goodwill doesn't pay nothing for the merchandise they sell.At least Karm in Tennessee gives the person a 25 percent off coupon for donations they receive!!!I mean even karm is starting to do the same thing the prices are increasing...terrible!!

Some items are broken, some aren't. Some are overpriced, some aren't, and most items are missing parts. They have like 5 checkouts, but only 1 is open, and they close at 8:30 PM, not 9:00 PM, they also keep the 'OPEN' sign on when closed.

Pikeville Ky. Goodwill. The prices are too high for donated items, especially shirts and jeans. Put 2 more dollars and buy new one at Wal mart. I think instead of raising the prices ,drop them so poor people can afford them.

Overpriced items. Very dirty. We actually saw bed bugs crawling on clothes about 6 months ago. The last time we went in there the manager is now a young guy who lacks management skills. He told my mom a doll was 14.99 and then tried to charge her 44.99 for the doll. It wasn’t even worth 14.99. He said that he didn’t have to honor his word. Listen customers are always correct.

The website links to a Goodwill up in Michigan. They should be for the Pikeville Kentucky store. Although I have heard that the Pikeville Kentucky store is not open yet for business. Other folks have said that it is. I cannot get through to their main phone number as of January 24, 2022. All in all? If you need a new suit for court, you can't go wrong with Goodwill. :-) You've got to get look good for your 30 year sentence! ;-)

Goodwill is a total & complete rip off. People have been donating picture frames, clothes, & toys that were bought from family dollar & the dollar general that cost between 3.00 & 15.00 and Goodwill has prices marked up on them as much as 85%. I think that they should be investigated over this. Also they should not be allowed to sell anything over 5.00!
