I’ve gotten out of date canned cat food from their numerous times. Also do not sign up for their rewards program. It’s completely bs. Even if you try to do monthly they lock you into a year of payments and you can’t get out of it. Even tried disputing the charges. You’re better off going just about any where else unless you’re looking to strictly only buy a pet. Check all the food you buy.

I really used to love Petco .. I got tons of coupons and then it stopped. Now I hardly ever get a coupon and if I do it’s like 5.00 off .. so I’ve been shopping other places and saving money. I hope they see this and change back

Petco great place to shop for tropical fish. They keep the aquarium tanks clean. We stop the fish rewards because we are not allowed to use the 15% for being a member when petco has 20 % sale. Not allowed to stack both discounts. It did not make sense to pay for member discounts when anyone shopping can use a 20% off. We tried using a 20% off sale and stack the member 15% . Not allowed so not a great deal .

My daughter bought for supposed to be all female mice,but 1 turned out to be a male and got the other 3 pregnant and within days they were a army of these things, so we took them back and the young girl refused to give her money back, so we just tried to give all of them back to her and the store and she rudely said no,y'all are stuck with them and you need to take them out of the store

There grooming station at this location is amazing. The staff that takes care of your dog/dogs, treat them like their own. Plus they do excellent work with haircuts & full grooming. Very professional.

I ordered a tank online from your pikeville Location. First off it’s an hour drive for me in the first place and I could have gone to Kingsport Tennessee, which after today I will be doing from now on. I walk In and the store looks dilapidated and there was not one worker insight except for the person grooming the dogs. When someone did come up to the counter, it was immediate attitude we weren’t welcomed. I told them what I was there for and the one girl says she’ll go get my tank. She comes around the corner and it’s not the tank I ordered. well she tells me that she can exchange it so I tell her that’s what I wanna do. She proceeds to tell me that she has to charge me first for the new tank and the substrate I bought before she could start a refund on the order. which I didn’t understand at all that made no sense. It’s an exchange .I’m irritated at this point because she has not been helpful at all. The other girls just standing there staring like she’s clueless so I tell her to just forget it because my dad was gonna pay for it, but I had told him just to forget it at this point because she had been so unhelpful and weird and rude. I was over it and ready to go. I was gonna take the tank that I didn’t order, well I brought it to my car .I look at my email and I pull up the same tank up on the website and it’s the same SKU number. I go back in and show her and she tells me well,I can’t do an exchange now because Ive marked that you already picked it up. So I ask her is she the manager she says yea I said your a main manager and she muttered something and I just walked out and told her I wouldn’t return. THEN if I’m not already irritated. She had the nerve to call me when I’m about 20 minutes from being home and she leaves me a VOICEMAIL! Continuing to defend herself I have never had that happen to me. I didn’t know her name because she didn’t have a name tag but when she called me she left it.I really hope she isn’t a manger or if she is she really really needs a lot of work, off the jump not helpful and rude is just crazy.

DISAPPOINTED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT.
now if you know me im NOT one to bash anyone. This being said im far from just disappointed with our local petco. Joe was a Christmas gift for Jackson and after consulting with the people at petco and got everything we thought we needed, we made the purchase. It wasn’t until last night when Joe got so sick he almost died that we were aware of how awful petco had failed us. The enclosure they said was “perfect” for him was too small, equipped with the wrong lights, plants etc. After this they encouraged us to do fake plans as they didn’t like real ones. Turns out fake plans are TOXIC to chameleons. After this they sold us countless vines, mulch, light bulbs that all done nothing but BURN and harm our chameleon. I’m SURE they know how to take care of one as their enclosure has everything right… this has nothing to do with the children who work there as they have been doing their best with what education they’ve given them. However this is not okay… an attempt to make money almost costed Jackson his pet, all for pure lack of attention. do better.
