Lovely place, comfy bed and bedding! Breakfast is delicious and the evening Bourbon cocktail matched with the dessert pairing is even more delicious. The hosts are friendly and very knowledgeable of all things Bourbon and Kentucky. The property is immaculate.

Chateau Bourbon provides rest, relaxation, and such a welcoming atmosphere. Rooms are beautiful, clean, and spacious. Owners Missy and John are so friendly, they’ll make you feel at home. The food is delicious as well and the town is straight out of a Hallmark movie, so quaint! Will definitely be back.

This was by far the best stay we have had in a long time. Missy and John have thought of EVERYTHING! The breakfasts were amazing and the happy hour - treats we had never imagined and drinks served to you like royalty. The neighborhood is beautiful and we loved having Chateau Bourbon as our landing place as we traversed the Bourbon Trail. Couldn't more highly recommend.

Chateau Bourbon is amazing! This was our first time at a B&B and Missy and John set the bar high. The happy hours and breakfasts had variety and included bourbon in some form. The location is convenient to the distilleries in the area and the neighborhood has lots to offer. John and Missy took time to chat with us daily and offered tips and recommendations for the area. The room was beautiful and the bed was super comfortable. I added an order of bourbon balls to our reservation and so glad that I did. They were fabulous! This place is a gem!

We had a fabulous time at Chateau Bourbon and highly recommend it! The property is beautiful and immaculately maintained, and the personal touches were so special. Street parking right out front was easy and readily available and accessing the property couldn't have been easier even though we were arriving late. The daily happy hour with homemade cocktails and dessert was a really nice treat, and the breakfast each morning was wonderful. Missy and John were so welcoming and a pleasure to talk with each day. They provided great local recommendations and our only regret is that we didn't have more time to explore the shops and restaurants within walking distance from the B&B. We already had a full itinerary planned for our trip, but in hindsight would have loved to spend more time exploring the walkable neighborhood. If you're considering staying here on a trip to the Louisville area, stop looking at other options and book here now - you won't regret it!!

I can't say enough good things about this place - but I'll try. First, it's gorgeous! The furnishings in the main part of the house make you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive - and after you have had a nice, relaxing swing on the front porch. There is even a blackboard with a welcome note to those who are arriving. So cute! Then, you go to your room. Additional homey feels in here! My husband and I stayed in the Stillhouse Suite which has two queen beds, one being on an outside porch. Wonderful! The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were amazingly soft. Pillows were quite comfortable as well. The room itself is generous in size and the bathroom has a gigantic shower!
And what's a B&B without the breakfast? I can tell you, you do not want to miss it. You pick a time for breakfast the evening prior and voila, a Downton Abbey worthy table is laid ready for you in the morning. Three courses. My favorite was the blueberry waffle with the bourbon infused syrup. No wait, it was the ham and egg cups over grits. No, really it was the baby gouda quiche on the first day. Oh, never mind. I can't pick a favorite. But, you get the idea. You also don't want to miss the Happy Hour in the evening at 5. It's a great way to get to know others who are also enjoying their stay at the Chateau. And the drinks and desserts are amazing. I do have a favorite here - a Manhattan with just a touch of praline liqueur. Oh yum!
None of this awesomeness could've happened without the vision and hard work of the hosts - Missy and John. So very professional and so very fun and informative. They chose a great location in a small, walkable community where everyone is front porch sittin'. Very quaint, lovely and welcoming. They chose well and developed a dream that others can share in. I hope you get the chance.

What a wonderful place to stay! We picked this location for a girls' weekend because of the neighborhood initially - Norton Commons offers so much to do for shopping, dining, and entertainment all within a quaint and idyllic neighborhood on the edge of Louisville. However, we fell in love with Chateau Bourbon. The owners are incredibly nice and welcoming; the food they serve is 5 star restaurant worthy; their knowledge of the area is high and so helpful; and the coziness of the B&B itself cannot be beat. The beds were so comfortable that I begged for the bedding information. I will definitely be recommended Chateau Bourbon to any friends coming to the Louisville area for any reason, but especially for the Bourbon Trail.
