Royal Jewelers was the first (and probably still the smallest) I visited, but everything they told me has been verified upon second (and sometimes 3rd) opinions. They gave me great, timely work and communicated well, and have been by far the most transparent and offered the most information and expertise. Meanwhile with the other places I've visited for 2nd opinions and quotes, I've found the larger operations in town to be the most amateurish, inconsistent, and least trustworthy.
