“Very nice arts and craft show with over 40 booths that had some very nice stuff. Everything from knives, woodworking, photos, jewelry and such all homemade. It is great going to shows like this that does not have a lot of vendors selling non homemade items”

“This mall shopping center was a pretty good shopping center. I was very pleased with it, and made a good purchase at the grocery store there. I would go there again.”

“This was a good place to work. I miss it. I kept Kroger clean along with running the cash register, which I didn't agree to. But overall the service is good. Melissa does a damn good job keeping Kroger clean! And all the managers are very friendly I miss my coworkers but had to leave for personal reasons. This is a good job for younger people bc they are able to help with college too. The pay is great 16.50 an hour. Only complaint is they outta try not putting their employees on the cash register when they've had hardly any training and expressed their lack of confidence when working the register. Kroger, let your employees stick to the job they got hired on to do!!”

“Love hikes point plaza, especially the Re Store. Great place for bargains on building supplies and materials, furniture, etc. They also accept donations of the things they sell.”

“Love the stores and there's plenty of parking but the homeless people have taken over and are aggressive. They harass customers and leave garbage everywhere. The owners need to take care of this problem before someone gets hurt.”

“As these types of retail outlets go, Cabela's / Bass Pro Shops are great. However, this store did not have what I was shopping for. The sales person helping me thought they had my product in stock and spent several minutes searching their display for it, but found nothing.”

“The era of the great American shopping mall is certainly in the past, but this mall has done a good job of keeping up with the times. It offers some nice options. I do too much of my shopping online, but sometimes you need to do something in person. And this is a good choice for that.”

“Nice little shopping center in the heart of J-town. King pin lanes dominates the signage with a good mix of stores on either side. Dollar general, little Cesar's, doughnuts and more. Make sure you exit at the light! Happy shopping!”

“I LOVE the shops at the Paddock! We frequently visit Total Wine, they have such a wonderful variety of products! The first Ulta I ever visited is in the Paddock Shops, and I still go in there when I'm in the area. They are getting ready to open a Fresh Market which will have me over there at least twice a month!”

“Its a refurbished, small strip mall with the best hair stylist in southern Indiana, Vickie at Nu-U Salon. Trust me I have been searching alot of salons since i moved here 5 years ago...looking for a great stylish that knows hair. Vickie took her time combing out my long monsterous mane and watching her cut it was like watching an artist at work. She knows how to blend in layers and frame my face so i dont look like a round face school girl. It is the best hair cut i have had in 30 years...God's honest truth. I left the salon very, very happy with the results. I will definately be back to see Vickie! If you're looking for a great hair cut...dont wait...go see Vickie!”

“Good food, good service, nice atmosphere. I meet my college buddies here every other week for lunch and it's always great.Also--maybe the best, top 5 for sure, chili in Louisville, it has won awards. This is thick chili, meat, beans and sauce only, no spaghetti. Really good!! ?”

“I got the extended Gentlemens Cut, with a beard trim added on. The entire booking was meant to last an hour, and they got me out with 10 mins to spare! I have a big event tonight that I need to look my best for, and the hair stylist, named Legend, was incredible. She made me laugh, and most of all, gave me one of the best experiences I've ever had getting my hair trimmed and styled. She 100% earned her title. I highly recommend getting her as your stylist, but you better book early on, cause her booking times fill up fast! All the other stylists are also amazing people and put their all into what they do. Any one of the stylists does an outstanding job to make you look terrific.Overall, GentlemensCut at Springhurst never disappoints. The stylists and everyone who works there are lighthearted, funny, and can always bring a smile to a gloomy day. 20/10, highly recommend!”

“I shop Krogers for their selection of fresh vegtables. I used East End Eye care for first time and they took wonderful care of me. I will return! We all know Outback has some tasty food and I'm happy with the service at this one. I use UPS frequently and I am always treated with respect and service is fast.”

“Went to the $1.25 and more store. Stock everywhere in boxes. Maybe the corporate office should hire night time stock ppl during holidays to keep stuff on shelves..just a thought ?”

“My husband and I ate lunch at Pizzaville, and they did not disappoint. We remember when they opened this place a few years back in the small area next door to where they are now. The pizza was good, and now that they have grown to a dine In bar, the pizza is even better. The atmosphere was nice and we really enjoyed our lunch date. The owner is so sweet. She comes out and talks to us every time. The wings were delicious as well. You would be very pleased if you gave it a try.”

“Mid City Mall is kind of a weird place. It always has been. Calling it a 'mall' is really an overreach, yet, I'm not sure what category it would actually fit into. It's definitely a dying model and quite unlike any I've ever been in. But, it's a familiar, comfortable, weird place. Until recently, I lived about 3 minutes walking distance away, and I could cover almost all of my needs, some until 9 pm and some until 2 am. It has a neighborhood, almost, small-town feel, that is nearly becoming extinct. You get to know the clerks at Value Market and Family Dollar, and they know you. I've almost filled my punch card at Nearly New Shop, downstairs, which has some great, second-hand, finds, and the very patient librarians, at the Highland- Shelby Park library, have assisted me countless times with numerous issues, Mid City is, then, rounded out with great food at the very popular, Ramen, movies at Baxter Ave or live humor at Comedy Caravan. You can finish your evening, with a late night cocktail and snack, around the corner at the oddly, eclectic, Back Door, and when you can't find it--anywhere-- the most helpful, handsome, funny, security in town, Avri, will point you in the right direction and make you laugh at the same time.. All in all, you have a complete 'mall' experience. Weird, but complete. That's probably why I like it. We have the same energy.”

“The area is pretty clean. It's just on the good side of the railroad tracks, if you know what I mean. So, every now and then, you will have someone trying to bum money from you. I mostly visit the UPS store in this shopping center. They are very nice and efficient.”
