“Tidal Wave Auto Spa in Richmond, KY is hands-down one of the best car wash experiences in the area. From the moment you pull in, you can tell this place is well-run — the equipment is clean and modern, the facility is well maintained, and the whole process feels smooth and efficient. The automated wash is thorough and gentle yet powerful, leaving my vehicle sparkling without any scratches or water spots.
What really sets Tidal Wave apart is the attention to detail. The high-quality soaps and wax finish give the paint an extra shine, and the vacuum stations are spacious, strong, and easy to use. The staff are friendly, courteous, and happy to help, making the whole visit a pleasant one.
Whether I’m stopping by for a quick exterior wash or a full interior and exterior clean, this location consistently delivers excellent results. It’s fast, convenient, and worth every penny. Highly recommended for anyone who wants their car to look great without the hassle!”
“I wanted to recognize the young man working the entrance to the car wash today. I tried getting his name. I think it was Brice or Ice. From the moment I pulled up, he was professional, friendly, and welcoming. He clearly explained the process, guided me onto the track with confidence, and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.
What stood out most was his attitude. He genuinely seemed to care about providing great customer service and represented the business exceptionally well. Employees like him are often the reason customers come back. Management should know they have a great team member who deserves recognition. Outstanding job!”

“The automatic car wash bay would not take cash today I have no idea why. However I was really pleased on everything else. I got the $14 wash, I think it could have gotten a bit better with the undercarriage wash. I'll be back to washing my car myself as soon it gets warmer.”
“Absolute best self serve car wash I’ve been to! You usually have very weak vacuums and and full trash and just disgusting place but not here! Strong vacuums, has small and large ones. And tons of options in the wash section as well. Highly recommend!”

“Fantastic customer service!!! Noticed a few hours after the wash, that there was a little mishap with the tire shine. I went back and they gave me the best wash they had! (Without the tire shine this time) That’s how you get re-peat customers. Go give them a try if you haven’t!”

“Great place. Always clean, always working well. The first time we used it, I had an issue with one of the bays (my vehicle is significantly modified, could have the same issue anywhere). I emailed the owner, and he got back to me right away, with a very helpful explanation and advice - and it worked. We are loyal customers, and are so glad to have found such a great car wash so close to our new home.”

“I went through the car wash done the $17 wash and I was in a 92 van really sharp van. It was really dusty dirty where it had sit in the garage for about eight months or longer and I drove it into town and washed it up. It came out looking like it was new. It’s all I can say did a good job. I wish I could send a picture. I don’t know how to send a picture.”
