We 1st went to another Honda dealership in Frankfort and despite my wife having bought a vehicle from them in 2019 and having her CRV serviced there regularly, were disappointed with the approach in trying to buy a new CRV 2026. We were told we wouldn’t get it cheaper and that was their “best” price.
We then went to Gates Honda in Richmond and had a completely different vibe. Kyle, Carl and Richard were superb, friendly and professional. Felt so comfortable that they wanted to sell the car to us and not as we had earlier felt that morning, that we should be grateful that Honda Frankfort should sell the car to us.
My wife and I are grateful for our new Honda and will be getting the servicing done there and would recommend them.
Oh and we did get a better price. And my wife preferred the color 😊

So long, Karen the Kia - hello, Lilly the HR-V! After 5 years together, my kia unexpectedly decided it was time to part ways. Thanks to Chris House, my fiancé and I brought home my dream car yesterday, and I could not be more excited! Even with some hiccups the process was smooth & supported the entire time! 🚗🤍

We stopped by Gates Honda on Saturday to buy a car for our son. They had several really nice options and we were fortunate to be greeted by Chris Young who took the next several hours to patiently show us inside and out of probably 10 cars to make sure we could find the best combination of safety features, low mileage, and the exterior look we wanted. Chris brought over cars from multiple different lots and continued to recommend we look at other vehicles as he thought of them. He was willing to spend his entire day to help us without making us feel rushed in the slightest. Thank you to Chris Young and Gates Honda!

Apparently when you buy 6 cars over 13 years worth more than $100k you aren't worth a couple of hundred bucks for a 2nd key fob that should have come with the $30k car I just bought. I was told too bad, sorry about your luck when I asked for one. I WILL NOT be back and I hope they enjoy losing a good, loyal customer. This was not a good experience overall like it was the last 5 times I purchased from them.

This is my second time getting a vehicle from
Gates Honda and I am so grateful for this team, specifically Chris House! He’s an amazing salesman, and you can tell he truly cares about getting you in the right vehicle and making sure you’re comfortable with the purchase. He's made the experience easy and welcoming every time, and he never tries to push something on you just to make a sale - which I love. Cannot recommend Chris enough!!

I was blessed with the wonderful opportunity and experience with Liv ward, she was passionate about making sure to go above and beyond helping find the perfect vehicle! She was patient and very understanding on the difficult decisions on choosing only one of the vehicles out of the multiple amazing options she presented and everything within the price range I felt comfortable staying around! I bought a 2025 CRV from Gates. I love the car! It rides great and has all of the great features! Dustin Bean was my salesman. He is in his rookie year as a salesman and he did a great job! He answered all of my questions. When he was unsure of an answer he was honest and told me and asked someone more experienced to be sure I got all of the information I needed. He was very patient with me, helping me test drive as many cars as I wanted to drive. It’s well worth the drive to Richmond to buy from Gates. Ask for Dustin!

Kris deserves a medal — or at least a pumpkin spice latte — for his patience, professionalism, and sense of humor. If every car salesperson were this good, buying a car wouldn’t be such a monster of a task. 🧟♂️
