I've been Loyal to Kroger Pharmacy for years. However, as of late its not quite what it used to be. It's hard to get anyone to answer the phone most of the time, I've had to call 6+ times over a 6 hour period to reach them before. They have run out of my medication more than once, and I've had in-app refill requests get completely removed/deleted without any notification, and didn't find out until I go to pick it up. All in all I still usually can get my meds, even if a little later than anticipated, and their prices are cheaper than many places, so I will still give 4* for the times it does go smoothly.

If you come here, be prepared for a long wait. They are extremely slow. Not sure if it is a staffing problem or what, but I am getting ready to switch pharmacies, even it means paying more for prescriptions.

I went to the doc at 2:20 yesterday on my lunch, prescription should have been ready by the time i got off at 6, went there, waited an hour for a prescription i was told was ready only to be told an hour later that it wasnt ready and to come back tomorrow. I came back and was on the phone with management because i was going to be getting there right at closing time and they closed the window and were trying to refuse service. I had been waiting 2 days for an antibiotic that I desperately needed!! I went in and explained the situation calmly and the worker literally threatened to call the police on me because i was yelling and using not so nice words because i was fed up with the absolute unprofessional behavior there. I will absolutely not be coming there again. Would give -5 stars if i could.

Placed order for my meds that I was out on Wednesday. I had to call my dr to get refill. I get a text from Kroger later saying it’s ready to pickup. My girlfriend goes there and picks up 3 meds. She gets home and none were the one I needed. I called Thursday and Friday and no answer. On Saturday I call again and ask for status update. It said the med I need isn’t available for refill. I called 3 times on Saturday and it Rang until voicemail. Today made day 5 of not having my depression med and going through withdrawal. My girlfriend went back up there to find out what’s going on. Not only did she get called a liar, she was misgendered several times even after correcting them. They threatened to call the cops on her just because she was advocating for me. They finally gave her the 60mg they didn’t give me. They kept saying they gave me my Cymbalta the day she picked up my other meds. They didn’t. They only gave me lovothyroxine, busprione, and bupropion. I will never use Kroger pharmacy again. They should be ashamed!!!

I had a prescription sent at 2 pm in the afternoon. It wasn’t ready at 630 pm. Guy said he could get them to start on it soon after waiting for 30 min in line first… when your the one sick with flu and only one able to get meds. No wonder you already have poor reviews

The people who work here are very nice, but the pharmacy has a HUGE problem with their drive thru. They’ve got to put a timer or something on how long people can sit at the window. I literally just waited 20 minutes for a single car and ended up having to get out of my car to ask the entire line to backup so I could get out.A normal person with average self awareness would think “Oh wow, I’ve been sitting at this window for a really long time. Maybe I should park and go inside or pull up while the pharmacist completes my order so some of these other 18 cars can get their prescriptions too.” Or even better, “maybe I’ll call ahead and make sure my prescriptions are ready to be picked up before I park my butt in this line and make all these other people wait on me too.” Or best, sign up for text messages and they’ll literally text you as soon as it’s ready to go! But apparently these people don’t fill their prescriptions at Kroger. Because this was legitimately the 4th time it’s happened to me here.Seriously, what in the world takes 20 minutes? Are you dropping off the written prescription and when they say “ok that will be ready in 20 minutes” you think “awesome! I’ve got so many interesting things to say to Facebook! I’ll just shut off my engine and hang out!” Do you think all 18 of us are just back there tailgating the pharmacy drive thru like a football game? Seriously. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?! I’m sorry you don’t have anything to do, but the rest of us are busy! IT’S WHY WE’RE IN THE DRIVE THRU!So again, the people who work there are very nice. But they’re probably too nice. Definitely too nice to tell someone to get their *** out of line. This pharmacy needs a policy that says if it’s gonna be longer than 5 minutes you either gotta come in or you gotta park and wait while we fill the order. (You woulda thought the well-text-you-when-it’s-ready feature would have solved this issue. But I guess that technology is too basic for these super important people.)All these words to write and it still took less than half the time that I wasted waiting for one single car in the drive thru. I wish we didn’t live around so many people who are completely unaware of how to function in a society with people other than themselves. But until that day, PLEASE CHANGE THIS KROGER!

Always professional and caring. I love using Danville, KY Kroger pharmacy. They even offer a membership that saves us a ton of money!

They look down on people and make them feel bad. Me and my doctor talk. No them. They just me my stuff and they like to play doctor

They're definitely not caring... that's false advertising. If you show up 40 minutes before they close with a simple antibiotic prescription for a painful tooth infection, they snort (it was actually a combination snort and expulsion of spittle) in derision that you would dare attempt to get medicine that close to their "quitting time". The lesson here is clear: healthcare "professionals" at grocery stores stop caring at least 40 minutes before the whistle blows.

Hate that it shuts down so everyone takes break together. Would be better if break did not affect hours open

Trying to contact this pharmacy by phone would lead one to believe there is no human life in the pharmacy at that time. One or even two phone calls missed due to being busy happens to the best of us. Someone needing to call on repeat with minimum delay for an hour and a half is incompetency.

Courteous, helpful. They go out of their way to get you the most affordable prescription prices.

This is a very large store, with primarily groceries but also some clothes and kitchen and home stuff. To find more of a selection you'd probably have to go to Lexington. They had some interesting local items, an okay produce section (at least with fresher items than the last Kroger I visited), and for the customer with special dietary needs, I did note they had Oatly and Just Egg, as well as high-protein noodles and various other things that just wouldn't have been found at a small town store like this even ten years ago. I would sooner visit a smaller locally owned place than a big box like this, but at least here there were things worth shopping for.
