I’ve tried to give this place a try but I’ve been shown time after time why I shouldn’t! The first time my experience wasn’t that great. Ended up having to come back twice to get spots touched up from the dye. I called and made an appointment for a haircut, and the owner left and the other lady said she wasn’t doing it. So I just simply left. My money isn’t good enough for these people , not to mention , their salon is a complete mess! They do say, you get what you pay for and it truly shows! Save your time folks. I’m surprised they haven’t closed their doors yet.

First 2 experiences I had were great. Hair color and hair cut on a short notice and then styling for an event on the second appointment with another haidresser. 3rd time same scenario as the 1st, hair color and hair cut. Lane took me in and I clearly told him to just take care of split ends, because I love my long hair. I said I was willing to cut a little more than an inch but that was the limit. So he messed up my long beautiful hair that I had grown to waist lenght and practically chopped it off too short, to chest lenght, when I has specifically said don't cut too much. Now I cannot style it or even do anything nice to it not even a pony tail looks good because there is no form or shape in the back and everything looks uneven. Tried to straigthen it and all the chopped off lines show. So i cant even hide the asumettry with any hair style there's not enough proper even lenght to put it in a nice bun or anything. I told him that I was not satisfied and that it didn’t look right in the back. There's no Vshape, no long layers, as i had specifically asked because my hair is naturally curly and a straing horizontal line in the back makes my hair look like a mop. He tried to cut it again while dry and I just got frustrated because I had grown my long hair for years only to have him chop it off carelessly in 2 seconds. Since I didn't like it he said I had 2 weeks to come back and fix it no charge. What are you going to do? Completely destroy it? It looks so awful already I cannot fathom how he dared to charge me anyways. I felt so awkward like many people feel after getting a bad haircut and you feel obliged to pay even if you were not satisfied? He knew that he messed up and try to make it better giving me a coupon but still I felt over $70 dollars to have a mop haircut was already too expensive. I paid reluctantly because at least he did the color right but what good can hair color be in combination with a horrible hair cut? I wish they gave me my money back because my hair never looked so awful. As a woman with Native American heritage our long hair is our identity and he practically destroyed it in a few minutes. Never again will I put a step in that establishment nor I will recommend it. And I will advise to the first timers to go with the lady hair stylists instead, whom actually pay attention only to YOU and are not talking to other clients or are on the phone while they are doing your hair. Overall, very bad experience I will never go back.

Always a good cut from here, with quick, friendly service. Cost (and tip) are in-line with expectations of other similar locations, but the personal engagement familiar to a local salon makes all the difference.

Also had hair highlighted. Deza Rae is a wonderful stylist and person. All the people in the shop are extremely friendly and very nice. I give them an above and beyond any rating possible.
