Ron's is awesome!!! Here is my story. I have issues trusting people especially with my truck. I called several different places in Lexington KY to get the rear end of my 06 Chevy Colorado. The cheapest quote I had in Lexington was almost $2000. I heard about Ron's from my wife's Supervisor. The minute I spoke with Ron I knew that his shop would be the one to do the repairs. Once I met Ron in person what I felt was confirmed. Sorry to ramble but if you want a Mechanic shop to trust your vehicle with I 100 percent would send anybody to see Ron and his crew. Ron you have gained a Customer for life Brother. God Bless and remember to call Ron's if you need mechanical help!!!!

Where do I start?
I purchased a fender online and had it shipped to my house. I brought it to ron to have him take off the broken fender and snap on the replacement that I bought in advance. He assured me they would have it completed the next day. Fast forward 4 days later and I get a call saying the work is complete. I NEVER RECEIVED AN ESTIMATE!!! I'm not sure if that is even legal, but it is certainly unethical. They charged me over $250 to snap on a fender which probably took 20 minutes at most. They didn't even have to buy the replacement part!!! I'm tired of mechanic shops and unethical practices. I will NEVER take anything else to ron.
I suggest that people look elsewhere unless you want to get overcharged and never provided an estimate. TERRIBLE BUSINESS. Do not recommend. Stay away!!!

I called the morning of to see if he could check to see why my check engine light was on, he said bring it on and he’d hook it up, come to find out I had gotten a bad coil pack from a previous fix a few months ago at another shop. He had my car fixed same day without trying to up charge it tell me other things that could be wrong. He also gave me a ride back to my house after I dropped it off and picked me back up when it was finished! Couldn’t ask for a more upstanding, honest mechanic than Ron! I highly recommend his shop to anyone!

They smoked my EVAP system to attempt to locate a small vacuum leak. Ron informed me that replacing the fuel pump MIGHT fix the problem, but that he recommended checking with the dealership first for any recalls that may be fixed for free. He charged me less than $50 for diagnostics (some places would have charged over $80), and was very honest and up front. Would definitely take my business here again.
