Telford Community Center YMCA

Hours: The Telford Community Center YMCA is described as a friendly and welcoming place for all ages and abilities. Many reviewers highlight the positive and respectful atmosphere, noting it feels very inclusive with a sense of community where people are not afraid to talk and where long-lasting friendships can form. The staff receives consistent praise for being amazing, lovely, very friendly, welcoming, and genuine. The facility offers a wide range of amenities for the whole family. These include a pool, which is noted as being excellent for joint disorders and aqua arthritis classes, a gym, a racket ball room, and a basketball court. While some equipment and the overall design are acknowledged as a little outdated or lacking modern design, many appreciate this authentic, non-fancy style and find the equipment to be in really good shape and of good quality. The primary criticism mentioned involves some members' behavior, including inappropriate comments, poor gym etiquette, and a lack of personal space. However, the overall sentiment is that the YMCA is a great, family-friendly place with a positive atmosphere that more than makes up for any shortcomings in its physical appearance.
